Fantastic weather, great lineup of artists, really well organized event with great staff and very good security. Amazed at how they got 60000 people to attend in an orderly fashion. The production was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Would definitely consider attending again.
What a fantastic way to get people informed and motivated about the world around them. The event used incredible artists and people to empower attendees and engage them on the global stage. It was so refreshing to hear about people helping people and actively trying to make our work a better place. Using music and musicians of that magnitude kept everyone engaged and focused.I loved watching my kids especially enjoying the music and getting to hear informed people talking about the world around them. Loved it all!
Great Show, Had VIP Tickets, would do again, but eat prior to coming to the show, Lines for the food and washrooms were outrageous even in the VIP section, maybe even bring snacks next time, as the lines almost went the extent of the pen. Not much selection either for food choices. Even though you are in the Global VIP Section, you are still quite far away, spent most of the time watching the concert on the big screen, still great sound quality.
What an awesome way to spend 8 hrs! The weather was perfect, too. Top name musicians supporting an awesome cause. Rocking for hours and listening to speakers, from country heads to corporate heads to actors and musicians supporting the various Global Citizen goals. Great global goals! Sad that there were Pearl Jam fans who forgot the reason why Pearl Jam was performing in Central Park, being very impatient and verbally rude to the speakers. Shame on you!
Aside from too many speeches, this event was phenomenal. It wasn't easy standing for 7 hours straight, but when Pearl Jam came on it made it all worth it!! Great performances from Cold Play and Ed Sheeran. Great cause - I will definitely be following the Global Citizen movement and helping out!!

60,000 citizens on the Great Lawn in Central Park NYC. An incredibly memorable "so-glad-I-was-there event". Tiesto, the Roots, Fun., Sting, Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, Carrie Underwood, JayZ, Beyoncé....all in one show and for such a great world project.
VIP lineup was too long! Bathrooms we're disgusting. Video screens were great!
I go to this event every year, and every year I take away more & more. The key speakers were amazing! As were the bands. I think there is more to this event than a concert and I hope people attending realize this. After returning from Africa, I now realize how much help other parts of the world need. On my way back from Global Citizen to Canada I ran into a woman at the airport as I helped her with her bags we chatted. After telling her about Global Citizen she ask me to write down the name as she & her husband were teaching their children about proverty and how she would love to take action with her family. I then realize I still had a copy of my ticket on my so I gave her that. I purchased the Impack Pk and ask my friends on FB to do the same. It doesn't take much to spread the word and get help.
