Hairspray Tickets

Light summer entertainment in a unique setting with a very talented group of young people - enjoyed the evening.

I did not know this musical--but was around in the years of the US Civil Rights Movement and have fair awareness of "Jim Crow America". Hairspray is a high energy musical that brings back an era that deserves to be remembered .

I was so impressed! The talent that this production had was phenomenal!

We attended the closing night of the Westmount Summerstock run of Hairspray. This production was incredible! It was hard to believe it was a group of students (high school to early university) and not a professional show. The singing and choregraphy were excellent, and the acting was really good. We especially loved the actresses who played Penny, Tracy and Motormouth Maybelle, for their voices, as well as great acting/comedic timing. Kudos to the whole cast, crew production team and director(s) for putting together a wonderful show!

Despite the rain delay, the cast and crew worked together and got the venue dry enough to start the show. Great performances :)

I was very very impressed with this show. Would absolutely recommend it to a friend. The entire cast was age 14 to 20 and I cannot believe the talent of these young people! The venue was lovely too... chairs were very comfy and being outside on a summer evening was nice.

I was so impressed by this group of young Calgarians - great talent. The show was fun, the singing and dancing was terrific - and lots of laughs too. It's also great to sit outside and enjoy a performance.
