Built on the site of the long-standing Ivor Wynne Stadium, Tim Hortons Field was built for the 2015 Pan American Games and has become a vibrant hub for CFL action. At “The Donut Box,” Ticat fans can be heard cheering along with team mascots Stripes and T.C. and sounding off the longtime "Oskee Wee Wee" chant led by Pigskin Pete. The 23,218-seat multi-purpose stadium has hosted two Grey Cup championship games, including the 2021 matchup between the Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 2023, the capacity record for the stadium was set at 28,808 during the 110th Grey Cup game.

    Lovable people working the venue.

by R&R on 2023-09-08Tim Hortons Field - Hamilton

Having never been to a TiCats game in Hammy, I didn’t know what to expect. All of the staff I had an interaction with were very friendly and helpful. This made my experience a winner. I will be attending more TiCats on an ongoing basis. Great place to watch a game!!!! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️🏈✔️🏈🏈🏈

    Fun day in The Hammer

by Brador on 2023-09-07Tim Hortons Field - Hamilton

Enjoyed the game from the 50 yard line.Great view and Tim Hortons Field is a gem of a stadium. It's like night and day compared to the old Ivor Wynne stadium. Fun atmosphere and good teasing by both Argo and Ti-Car fans. Only gripe is that cash should be allowed for payment at concession stands. System crashed and clerk just left post without telling us what happened or go to another line. Other than that, it was worth the short drive down the QEW from Mississauga

    Garbage Team

by Speedy B II on 2023-09-07Tim Hortons Field - Hamilton

The team is ass, like absolutely garbage. The only reason people come to these games is because the atmosphere. It is a party vibe, no one cares about them, they just drown their sorrows in booze and party on the concourse. Yeah the games might be sellouts but they are only because the city of Hamilton is a giant alcoholic swamp.

    Wonderful experience.

    by 60s Fan on 2023-08-08

Great weather. Excellent seats. Good competition ( although the hometown teams lost). Tasty food and beverages. What's not to enjoy? I love sporting competition...been a player too. I do understand fans...and fanatics. Still, why are the loudest, most boisterous fans the ones who know nothing about the game, and have obviously never played it (well, except in their dreams)? Oh well, my hearing recoved.😊

    Fun family experience

    by Mme L on 2023-07-30

My kids and myself and our group had an amazing time at the Tiger Cats game. Lots to do to entertain everyone. Kids were cheering and dancing the whole night. Also, loved all the added stories and history of the teams on the big screen. We even caught up with some friends in the “bar” area with the kids for a few minutes and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. A really enjoyable night for all.

    Fun event!

    by Wally on 2023-07-24

Off field activities were fun. Ticats need to improve the pass rush, the pass coverage and they need to develop a long ball threat before they can take on the Argos. Hopefully they get there before the playoffs.
