Baby-faced country star Hunter Hayes may be young, but he can hang tough with the best of 'em come showtime. The talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist is a one man powerhouse, playing virtually every instrument and assuming production duties on his self-titled No. 1 debut. His precocity extends to the stage, where his silky croon and boyish good looks are matched by his equally impressive energy and showmanship. Hayes knocked fans' socks off at his shows in 2013, and with a sophomore album set for release in 2014, his upcoming tour dates are sure to be no different.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Hunter Hayes got an early start in music, taking up the accordion at age two and giving his first performances at age four. By age seven he had performed for Bill Clinton at the White House, and by age 13 he was singing away on America's Most Talented Kids. These would be end-of-career highlights for many performers, but for Hayes they were just the beginning. After opening for Taylor Swift on tour and penning songs for country icons Rascal Flatts, Hayes released his self-titled, self-produced debut album in 2011. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and spawned several chart-topping singles, including his first No. 1 "Wanted." Since then, Hayes has racked up more awards and accolades than most performers twice his age, including a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and a CMT Artist of the Year award.

Even though Hunter Hayes came out about 2 hours after the start time because of all the opening acts, I loved this concert! My favourite thing isn't just one! Not only was the concert interactive because of the wrist bands that were handed out before and went along with the music, but at one point in the show he came down into the crowd and sang in the stands! I will never forget my experiences!
I'm not even a huge Hunter Hayes fan and I had an awesome time. I was in the GA Pit section and the stage setup was excellent, room for pretty much everyone to be right at the stage and the performers came down the side stages very frequently. The bracelets that were given to the audience and used as a light show were fantastic.
Hunter was awesome! He puts everything he's got into his shows! Sound seemed muffled at times though?
With more heart and passion than I have ever seen in a performer, Hunter Hayes is a true musician! Wonderful concert and would recommend to everyone!!
Really enjoyed ourselves and lots of fun. The bracelets that lit up on our wrists during the concert were cool.
Although this was my fourth time seeing Hunter, the more intimate setting that the K-Rock Centre provides allowed me to fully appreciate just how multi-talented Hunter is. He is an amazing vocalist, guitar player, piano player, and seems like a genuinely nice person.
The entire night was amazing, Hunter Hayes is very good, all his dedication shows. But Abby Stewart stole the show.
For being such a young artist he really knew how to put on a good show. Having the interactive bracelets was also an amazing touch. Can't being how well put together it was. Will for sure being going to see him when he comes back!

Wow what a night. I bought the tickets so I could take my daughter as she had been a Hunter fan forever. (She's 12). I knew I liked a couple of his songs but was not enthused to be going. What a terrific surprise. Dan and Shay (who were they I thought) they are fantastic. What a great opener for what turned out to be one of the best concerts I have been too. (Which I have been to many). Such energy and talent. Well done. We loved it. My daughter said it was the best experience ever. :) Both albums downloads now. Lol
