Revered Russian pianist and composer Igor Krutoy is a master of eastern-flavored smooth jazz. Combining nostalgic piano melodies with lush arrangements, Krutoy's compositions are decidedly emotional, guiding listeners through sentimental journeys marked by gentle saxophone solos and mesmerizing drumming. Krutoy returns to the stage in 2015 for A Night With Igor Krutoy at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where he'll be accompanied by a symphony orchestra and a host of celebrated Russian performers including Filipp Kirkorov, Kristina Orbakaite, and Irina Allegrova.

Born in Ukraine, Krutoy taught himself the accordion as a child, going on to study music theory at Kirovograd music college. Continuing his studies at various conservatories throughout the region, he met popular Russian singer Aleksander Serov, who would later achieve success performing many of Krutoy's songs including "Inspiration" and "In Fate's Despite." Along with his pop compositions, Krutoy composed extensively for film throughout the '90s and '00s, earning numerous honors including Russia's Order of Merit for the Fatherland. A veteran performer beloved by fans around the world, he has toured extensively over the years, however his concert appearances have become increasingly rare. Fans lucky enough to score a ticket to A Night With Igor Krutoy in 2015 will be treated to a decadent night of the best in Russian music, including guest appearances by Lara Fabian, Valeriy Leontiev, and Laima Vaikule.
