Jamaica vs Trinidad
Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre - Toronto
What an absolutely hilarious presentation of the competitiveness, yet friendliness, of two Caribbean islands. While born in Canada, having two Jamaican parents has exposed me to several of the 'traditions'. I was in stitches. The dance-off was quite amusing, too :) I can not believe that it was my first time in attendance. An annual tradition has commenced! This entertaining evening is highly recommended.

Poor locations and poor 42 lineup

Have to say one of the weak fast 42 lineups that I can remember. Also locations not very convenient. Bring back queen elizabeth theatre

First JFL experience was a hit!

I'm so glad I purchased tickets this year. There weren't too many big names in the lineup, but every show I went to exceeded my expectations! The staff at venues, the food/beverage options, and the comedians themselves were all great. I would recommend that anyone interested in going in the future should go to as many shows as possible during the festival!

JFL Toronto is the best comedy value you can get!

We loved JFL this year. Even though we recognized few names this year, we loved every show we saw. All the comedians bring their best stuff to the festival. Special shout out to Rushdillas Asian Comedy Allstars show. Loved it.

Show was good, registration was a shitshow.

Neal Brennan was hilarious, would see him again, ticketing and access to the shows is another story entirely. I hate the stupid JFL app and the manner to access shows. I'm paying a premium to attend the event, yet show registration is a General Admission "Hunger games"scenario with an asinine credit system. Let me reserve my seat, and let me add my barcode / ticket to my google wallet like a civilized person.

Not very professional
The Royal Theatre - Toronto
Dulce was funny, but she freely admitted that she was exhausted. Her time was up and she walked off the stage without wrapping up a story, leaving the audience hanging. A pro would have managed their time better.

Great Experience, Too Many Emails
Meridian Hall - Toronto
Had a fantastic time at The Office Ladies show! Angela and Jenna were amazing and signed thigs the fans brought and took pictures, which was above and beyond what we could have hoped for from such huge stars!! The sheer amount of emails with reminders/additional information about other festival happenings, etc. was way too excessive, however. I received over 10 emails when all I would have expected were maybe 2 reminder emails and a confirmation, tops. Anything over 3 emails is too much. Please do better about moving more information into less emails in the future.

Okay
Meridian Hall - Toronto
I was so excited to see Jenna and Angela from Office Ladies. I was under the impression they would be breaking down a full episode, although it didn’t necessarily say that in the description. I heard other people who thought this as well. This wasn’t what happened though, it was more of a stand up. It wasn’t overly funny, and if you’ve read their book and listened to every podcast episode like I have, it’s just a repeat of all the same information and stories. So it was kind of boring? I liked the behind the scene video they played and the podcast clips they shared were funny. Just when I thought it was getting good it ended. It was only an hour in a half, in total I spent about $300 or more on that night including tickets, which were expensive but last row on the bottom level, driving an hour each way, gas, parking and dinner. If I had known that’s what it would be and how short it would be, I never would’ve gone. There was very little audience interaction and no audience questions. Needless to say, it wasn’t bad, but I was disappointed.
