This year we're bringing you more comedy than ever before with hilarious headliners, special events, and a whole slew of fantastic comedy acts. We also need to mention our TOTALLY FREE Street Festival at Berczy Park, featuring some of your favorite musicians, comedians, and musical comedians!

Buy a pass and take your pick from headliners, Andrew Schulz, Ronny Chieng, An Evening with the Office Ladies, Leslie Jones, Jonathan Van Ness, Marlon Wayans, Nicole Byer, Sam Morril, and Giggly Squad Live!

Once you've purchased a pass, set up your JFLTO account at toronto.hahaha.com to start reserving seats for incredible acts Michelle Wolf, Neal Brennan, Michelle Buteau, Tom Papa, Jim Norton, Joanne McNally, Ron Funches, Patti Harrison, Catherine Cohen.... and more! (& many, many more)

Every pass comes with a number of credits which magically appear as soon as you're activated and ready to go! Use them to reserve seats at the following venues: Elgin Theatre, Royal Theatre, Comedy Bar, Garrison, Rivoli, Yuk Yuk's, Second City, Nothing Fancy, and Absolute Comedy. To keep it simple - One credit = one show reservation.

You can get these credits gifted back to you and reserve more shows with them when you get your barcode scanned at the door during the festival!

    Office Ladies

by Danielle on 2023-09-24Meridian Hall - Toronto

I went with my brother to the Office Ladies show at JFL Toronto. It was so much fun! We were lucky enough to get chosen to go on stage, got to take a selfie with the ladies, and they gave us a signed book. Unforgettable evening!

Very fun event with great hosts - genuinely entertaining. Appreciated what felt like connecting with the audience and the office/their stories

    Laughter

by JFL Supporter on 2022-10-03The Royal Theatre - Toronto

Deon Cole was hilarious!!!!! I had really hoped it would be great, but the indigenous comedy fell flat. This whole event was fabulous. Thanks JFL. Looking forward to next year.

    Not enough value

by Nomi on 2022-09-30The Royal Theatre - Toronto

The price compared to the value did not match. I seemed some of the people chosen for the event was just to fill up the spaces. The price should really match this.

Paid for an autograph signing experience.. And the guest only signed their initials. No actual autograph :( Pretty bummed.

    Shows were excellent -

by Shugjr on 2022-09-25Various Venues - Toronto

The shows we saw were awesome! The street shows were not so great. Sound was sketchy, talent could be better, and too much gaps in between. Nothing to do in between acts.

    Technology nightmare.

by Jane on 2022-09-25Various Venues - Toronto

A technology nightmare. Reservations do not go back to you like they promised. App logs you out thirty seconds after you log in. Because the reservation system wasn’t working I didn’t see as many shows as I wanted to due to the fact that they were spread out so far across the city and I didn’t want to chance going all the way to the other end to not get a seat. The few comedians I saw were good though.

Fix You App and Token System

by Chris on 2022-09-25Various Venues - Toronto

Let me start with the comics they find are amazing BUT their token system is the worst tire fire in the world. For those unaware, this is based on a token reservation system. You reserved your seat with a token. You attend the show and scan your pass and get the token back. If you no show you lose your token. Sound like a good system right? It is if it worked. The tech behind it hasn’t worked for years, forcing you to email and harass them to get your token back so you can reserve another show. They aren’t responsive probably because its only one person dealing with complaints and I feel bad for that person. Day one the app wouldn’t even work. Wouldn’t show your barcodes for scanning. Day two the barcode comes up as invalid for the people in front of us in line even though it was for that show and their names were on the guest list. I love this festival but JFL needs to get it together as this is an unacceptable way of handling it - this has been a problem for years. What have you been doing this whole time when the festival couldn’t run? Fix the token system and this festival becomes 5 stars immediate. Until then I want this as a warning to people of what to expect. You’re going to lose at least one token, maybe 2. Plan your shows accordingly.

    My cheeks still hurt!

by MarijaMM on 2019-10-03Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - Toronto

I couldn’t stop laughing! I knew HDTGM was going to be fun but they exceeded my expectations and I only wish I lived in LA so I could see them Live regularly. Thanks a million for gracing Toronto with Your appearance!

    Anniversary laugh

by Domi on 2019-10-03Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - Toronto

Seeing Gabriel Iglesias was awesome. I am a true fan. I would thank him. It was an anniversary gift, but I lost my wife 6 months ago. So my best friend came along with me and it was a laugh that we needed

    On Point

by Shawn N Gus on 2019-10-02Various Venues - Toronto

Comics were outstanding! Haven't laughed so much since last year's JFL. Local talent for the openers were impressive. Definitely comics to watch for!

Just a great night with friends! Could improve the “adult beverage wine” selection but other than that a great venue!

by mrsrumphius on 2019-10-02Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - Toronto

Gabriel Iglasis was HILARIOUS! We laughed non-stop for the entire time he was on stage. When we were headed home, it felt like I'd done 100 sit ups! The Meridian Centre is a great venue. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

Amazing!! but pls update the app

by Shirley on 2019-10-02Various Venues - Toronto

Shows where great, coordination and access to venues was so well organized especially considering these are not assigned seats (shout out to the JFL42 staff!). The app makes everything super easy minus when you first buy a pass, the app needs development or better instructions. Also venue addresses should be listed and linked to the maps part from the schedule section 🙃

    Great Value

by Karen on 2019-10-02Various Venues - Toronto

Getting a pass is the best way to see the festival. I went to 15 shows and daytime panels — I was in comedy geek heaven. It was really well-run; the volunteers knew what they were doing, the shows started on time, and of course, they were funny. I look forward to JFL42 every year.

    Loved it, needed more!

by L. C. on 2019-10-01Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts) - Toronto

It was great!! But found the show really short, took us longer to drive there then the performance was. But fluffy was great to see, such an international comedian live. (Booking online did not allow us to see that our seats were not very accessible for a visually impaired person, we did not see that there were 2 flights of stairs to go up to get to our seats. Just something we will hace to watch for in the future.)
