I wasn’t sure what to expect from this show as I only knew Tom Wopat and John Schneider from their work on Dukes of Hazzard, a show which I loved watching in the 80s. Boy, was I ever surprised! They started off with the ballad from the Dukes of Hazzard which I expected but then they went on to showcase their amazing singing talents and comedic bantering. They have a wonderful friendship which they shared with the audience through stories and jokes. Very down to earth, extremely talented men. Tom sang a couple of songs acapella and has a fantastic voice. Both men did a comedic rendition of the song, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” retitled “Johnny, It’s Cold Outside” in which they changed the lyrics slightly. It showed how comfortable they were with each other and what a great friendship they have. They performed other songs from country to Broadway show tunes and all were extremely enjoyable. After the show, another surprise as they took the time to meet with their fans and sign autographs and answer questions. One of the best shows that I have been to!
