Symphony for Smiles overflowed with generosity!!!
by Anonymous on 2009-10-28Chan Centre For The Performing Arts - VancouverThe house (Chan Centre) was packed. The patrons were full of gratitude on this rainy Vancouver Sunday. Bill Richardson was his usual gracious self, not wanting to detract from Bramwell Tovey's introductions and commentaries. The music was inspiringly played, and provided entertainment for everyone. Then, the Parker cousins ripped the keys off the two pianos, not only in the Mozart double piano concerto, but also in the three encores, one of which included Bramwell Tovey himself! It was a wonderful opportunity for informed Vancouverites to contribute to an independant, effective cause.
