    Kenny Rogers Is Fantastic!!

by KennyRogersFan on 2017-11-06Ocean City Convention Center - Ocean City

We live in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. My husband and I drove to Ocean City, Md to see Kenny Rogers show. It was a 10 hour drive and worth every minute of it. We had meet and greet tickets. This is the 3rd meet and greet we went to with Kenny this year. As he is retiring we are trying to attend as many shows as we can. We love Kenny. He is such a nice man and genuinely cares about his fans. His mobility is not as good as it used to be so he has to sit most of the show but it doesn't matter. Kenny still has a great voice xnd he sings all his hits. He sounded great and got the crowd to sing along with him. Linda Davis was with him and they sing duets beautifully together. Kenny has a great sense of humor and as he reminisces about his career you see on the screen many clips and remember so much of it. I hope Kenny continues to perform some more shows in 2018. We will see him again for sure if he does. Don't miss out on seeing Kenny Rogers in concert. If you see his show you will be thrilled you did. Don't miss seeing this legend before he retires. He is a very special man and performer.

This was a fantastic collaboration of so many great artists paying homage to Kenny for his six decades of contributions to country music.

    Kenny Rogers was fabulous!!

by foxytoad on 2017-06-27Casino Rama Resort - Rama

It was a wonderful show. Kenny is a great entertainer with a great sense of humor. Even if he couldn't move around a lot he still has a nice voice. This was my fourth time seeing him at Casino Rama and I am glad I didn't miss his last performance. His band is the best and his guest singer was good.

    Memories with Kenny

by FindLidia on 2017-06-26Casino Rama Resort - Rama

Let's face it ~ we're all getting older. Kenny is able to admit it and have fun with it. I never had the opportunity to see him perform before and am very glad I got a glimpse of this talented entertainer. I had a very enjoyable evening.

    Kenny Came Up Aces

by SuburbanCowboy on 2017-06-26Casino Rama Resort - Rama

Given Kenny's age, that was one heck of a show! Appearing a bit frail, and not having the vocal range of his youth, Mr Rogers nonetheless led the whole audience through an auditory journey of his 50+ years of his career.

Did not move me in any way.

The show was just uneventful. I do not like country and I never really considered Kenny Rogers to be country because he just does not have that twang which I cannot stand listening to. And that's the problem for me at the show, the singer he has accompanying him was nothing but twangy.

Voice is failing but he's still Kenny!

by Ferg487 on 2017-06-25Casino Rama Resort - Rama

I have been a fan of Kenny Rogers since the late 1970's. I've been to see him many times live and have always enjoyed his entertaining style and great sense of humour. And that voice of course. So let me say at the outset that I hope this concert wasn't a first one for anyone. Kenny is 78 years old and this is billed as the last tour for him. I'm so glad I saw this concert, even though Kenny's voice is FAR from what it used to be. Throughout the 90 minute show, Kenny frequently missed the high and low notes, ran out of breath for some of the lyrics and even yawned a few times throughout the night (he even made a joke about it!!). Not surprisingly, they have structured the 90 minutes around letting Kenny rest! He admitted he's had a knee replacement, and was limping on and off stage, and sat on a stool for most of the concert. There are many videos and stories to fill the void, and he had vocalist Linda Davis (beautiful voice) sing several duets with him, and 3 or 4 songs on her own. All of this say, through it all, he's still Kenny. Funny, self deprecating and the consummate showman. His 78 year old voice just can't sing as well as he used to!! But, go see him anyway.....it's clear the audience full of his fans loved him and dismissed all the blips....everyone cheered and clapped and yelled out "I love you Kenny!!" throughout the night. He deserves all our love after the over 60 years of pure vocal bliss that he's given us.
