Before R&B singer Keyshia Cole was headlining her own world tours, she was enlisted as a supporting act for such major stars as Nelly, R. Kelly, Kanye West and Lil Wayne. However, even as an opening act, Keyshia had audiences transfixed. She continued to release hit songs like “I Changed My Mind,” “(I Just Want It) To Be Over,” “Love,” “Let It Go,” “Trust” (a duet with Monica), and “Take Me Away,” and, as a result, Keyshia garnered a legion of her own fans worldwide, all eagerly lining up for tickets to watch her perform LIVE. Fans and critics regularly praise the stylish diva’s concerts not only for her vocal chops and dance skills, but for the way she’s able to emotionally connect with the audience on a deep level. This two-way exchange is enhanced by the fact that the star’s personal struggles were made public by her decision to star in her own BET reality TV show “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is”—a brave move for any artist. Among her biggest influences, she cites the likes of Anita Baker, Faith Evans, Brandy and Mary J. Blige.

Waited until 1:15 am before she even came onto the stage big disappointment! Advertising said it started at 10:00pm but I didn't expect her to come until 12:00 am but 1:15 am was a bit much. Then ever song she sang she didn't actually finish the song just went into another, It might have gotten better after I left at 2:00 am!!! Its too bad I'd probably not got pay to she her again!
We were kept waiting for her to come out until 1:30 and then when she did she only sang for half an hour. The songs seemed to be based off of what the do had available not a set list that was put together in advance. Crowd was rowdy and we were pushed around when she actually came out.
Keyshia Cole was everything I thought it would be plus more....I love that she went from hit to hit, but I wished she played some more music for her day 1 fans. There were a couple of songs she skipped
She didnt come on until 1:30, so many technical difficulties
My daughter and I had a great time last week at Keyshia Cole's event! She performed well, and the seats were great!! Come back Keyshia we love you!!
If you want some true R&B and knock some reality and love sense into you than you gotta go see her. Love hurts and she definitely help you through it (I've never been hurt like that but damn if I was I know listening to her will help me through - lol); sounds like she's been through a whole lot. I like her stage set-neon glow in the dark. Check out the couch...plastic wrapped and all! Her dancers were great-helped pumped up the energy and Ms. Thang did her thang definitely. Keyshia voice is distinctive; no female artist have a voice like hers, i can't explain all I gotta say is go be apart of her concert! She's just amazing live.
Keyshia Cole is a fantastic artist but this venue didn't do her justice. Either the music was too high or her microphone was too low. I found that the music overpowered her voice. She has an amazing voice so I know she was not the problem.
Overall the concert was okay. Keyshia was awesome but the venue somewhat set the tone for the evening. It felt like we were sitting in a high school auditorium with all the chairs being on the same level. Most people remained in their seats for the majority of the concert which probably but once someone in front of you stood up it was a domino effect, you couldn’t see anything. It was a little to laid back and relaxed for the energetic passionate singer. There were a lot of empty seats so people where seat hopping and in the aisles with all the limited space in the rows. Would have loved to hear more songs from the new album, the concert was way too short; the hour and a half performance felt like 45 minutes. Loved that she mixed a few reggae beats to a couple of the songs. Her dancers were also very sexy and entertaining. Overall it was a half decent concert, I expected more but I’m still a huge fan!
I immediately loved the intimate setting. It was very up close, an experience not likely to get from for example the ACC. Keyshia Coles performance was excellent, she had everyone singing along and dancing out of their seats. I loved it.
