Kina Grannis was amazing live! She sounded exactly like her music so you know she's good. :D She was so cute and dorky. Her husband was the opening act and he was also amazing. It was a relaxing night listening to them sing. It was a very intimate concert too, since they were both talking to the audience and telling us about themselves.

by h0ray on 2012-05-03The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoLast year I tickets were sold out by the time I got to the door. I made sure this year as soon as tickets went on sale I bought them. VIP with meet and greet. Totally made up for last year as I was soo bummed out I couldn't watch the show. Hoping she comes to Toronto again next year. I'll try to see if she has any shows in LA in December when I go on vacation and for sure I'll go watch it. My sister and I had a blasT!

by Jokyng on 2012-05-03The Phoenix - TorontoI've been following Kina Grannis since the debut of her In Your Arms jelly bean video on Youtube. The show was excellent and full of energy. She picked all my favorite songs to sing and all the songs actually sounded better than on cd. It proved that she is already a seasoned performer at her young age. There were lots of funny moments and interaction betwen Kina and the crowd. Crowd was excellent, very knowledgeable with the songs. There were several sing alongs. Keith Tutt 2nd even had a short solo on the chello after the crowded started to chat Keith and solo, solo..... Her cover of Taylor Swift's Safe and Sound was better than the original. Then came the emotional and tear inducing 'Make It Go' where she sang about her mom's ordeal with blood cancer. It happened to be her mom's birthday that day and she called her mom on stage and had the crowd wished her a happy birthday. What a show!
Rating: 4 out of 5by Anonymous on 2012-05-03The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto Kina's show was magical! The best part was when she performed one of her songs unplugged. Her voice and guitar carried so well throughout the venue. It was a great moment!
