Kosher Lutherans - A Fun Evening of Theatre
by Hotriff on 2010-11-22Studio Theatre at the Toronto Centre for the Arts - TorontoA really fun evening of theatre. A timely and perhaps timeless tale of the emotional struggles of trying to have a child. The story is portrayed sensitively and with humour by the 5 talented actors. Although set in Southern California the set looked more like Bathurst Manor circa 1970. The play reached its peak when one of the characters (Hannah) takes the lead in going over the top in the deception of allowing the birth mother to believe that the adopting parents are not Jewish. Great fun!
