The Langley Rivermen need to work on tarping off both end zones to squeeze fans in on the sidelines. A playoff game had 1200 fans in a 5500 seat makes it extremely tough to have a great atmosphere. Rink is beautiful, top notch for the BCHL, but lacking in atmosphere or a significant fanbase.
Awesome game with lots of end to end rushes! The goalies were amazing with unbelievable saves! Hard, fast hockey with great skating, passing, and shooting. Way better than watching the Canucks!
The horn was a bit too loud. Could bring it down a decible or two. All other sound was good At the food stand you had to go to two seperate counters to get a hot dog and fries(counter #1 for the hotdog, then pay) then go to the next line up to order and pay for the fries. It would be a lot more efficient to get the dog and the fries at the same till and have to stand in only one lineup. The excuse was that the till did not have a "button" for fries. Since these are computer operated I would think it would be easy to reprogram the till
1St game we have attended. Was pretty good, tame by NHL standards but lots of fun to watch. So sad that so few people attend and support games like this. We will be attending more.
