My son really enjoyed all the songs, costumes and dances the characters performed.
Program was only about 55 mins. total time, with almost 25 min. intermission in between. Costumes reminded me of rentables. Just nothing special about the performance. Definitely not memorable; wouldn't recommend as it was just okay.
i took my 4 year old and my 5 year old..they paid attention right through and even laughed at the funny parts! I enjoyed it as well...first "play' type of thing i took my children too and we will continue to go to the upcoming ones!!!
I FOUND IT MEDIOCRE AS A PERFORMANCE. BUT IT WAS OK. I WOULDN'T GO AGAIN.
My husband said that our two year old son enjoyed it but it didn't quite measure up to Elmo or The Backyardigans.
Was really impressed with this show. I hadn't been to a show for kids since I was one, and so this was a first time experience for my son and I. I was really impressed at how well they got the kids to join in and was very greatful for the 15 minute intermission. Was a great show kept the kids interested!!
We took our five-year old daughter, as she is a HUGE little bear fan. She loved every second of it. My husband and I also found ourselves actively watching the tale. The songs were very catchy and we ended up buying the CD at intermission. At $15 it was not as overpriced as some other shows we've been to. The rest of the merchandise for sale was also very reasonably priced. We bought an adorable book for only $5. The only downside is that it was over too quickly. I know this is because younger children can only last for so long, but I would have loved another fifteen minutes or so per half. The show was also very reasonably priced - under $90 for three tickets. Would definately attend another Little Bear show if it comes to town.
This show was fairly good. My children made comments such as "They should have changed the back drop for winter too". They also noticed that the character "snake" wasn't there. The kids seemed confused by the addition of characters they were not familiar with from the show. We saw Franklin last year and it had a little more entertainment value. I have also seen shows at MTYP and Rainbow Stage that were absolutely dazzling. That is why I rated the show average. The songs were good, we bought the CD. Liked the fact that they were selling a book and functional clothing like hats and scarves. Both children got a stuffed Little Bear and love to play with it very much.
I watched my granddaughter bounce up and down on her seat, sing, smile and laugh. We had a blast.
Took my three year old granddaughter who loves the show and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. We danced and sang along and had a great time. She was happy Emily was there and we loved duck and cat. Great sets!
