We had a great time she is such a fantastic performer. My partner didn,t know much about Liza, but by the end of the show, he was shouting "we love you Liza". I don't know were she gets all that energy from. It was well worth the drive to Orillia to see Liza.
I missed the opportunity to see LIza Minelli at Roy Thomson Hall so when I heard she was coming to Casino Ramo purchased 4 tickets. Although she was good and I enjoyed her performance my first experience at Casino Ramo was awful We were on the main floor where the opening door was located and people and staff were constanly being shuffled back and forth. Between each song, ushers let more and more people into the concert. It was distracting and spoiled my evening. I think it is extremely rude to the entertainer as well as the paying audience. I paid nearly $200.00, plus gas milage from Ajax, plus dinner and drinks at Casino Ramo. Although LIza was wonderful and entertaining I was overall extremely disappointed with my experience at Casino Ramo
Took my grand-daughter who loves Liza and must admit I thoroughly enjoy the show. Liza was vibrant and exciting, obviously enjoying performing.
Im on the road about 8 months a year, and as part of a vacation treat, I wanted to go see a show at Casino Rama. I looked at the bill and Liza was there....wow....I wanted to see her live. Being in the biz myself, I dont often get to see other people working, so I jumped at the chance to grab a pair of tickets for my wife and I. We were not dissapointed. This woman has got it and got it in spades. She looks sounds and performs amazing. In a world where many of the mature singers are out there doing their past hits, coasting, not hitting all the notes....kinda cheating their way through the tunes without that youthful zip that was a vital part of the success of their original hits...Liza, performs all her earlier stuff with all the passionate fiery intensity that made the original performances so memorable. If time and tribulation has taken anything from her it is not evident at all. She is still a dynamo, a force to be reckond with. At one point in the show she asked if she could show off a little. She wanted to preamble the next tune with the fact that she had recently won a Tony Award. Here is a performer who after all the years she has been in the biz, is still at the top of her game, and despite having a body of work and awards that any one who performs would die to have as a testament to a truckload of talent and a ferocious work ethic, when shes up there working, she is neither sitting or coasting on that past glory. Sure its a big part of the fan appeal, but for her, its not a crutch. When you watch her do what she does, she knocks you over the head with the fact that shes up there not only to perform, but to breathe a fire and passion and life into these tunes which seperates the trophy winners from the also rans. This is one of the very few performers left, that after you see them work you think.....man, that is how you do it. Bravo!!!!!
My husband and I are in love with Liza. Her songs are timeless. Never tired of hearing Cabaret and New York New York.
band was wonderful. she was good on a few familiar numbers, however on most it sounded as if she jsut got a new set of teeth and couldnt keep them in her mouth. also, she was out of breath when she talked and it was hard to understand what she was saying. disappointing.
The concert was absolute amazing and me and my wife were so happy having the chance to watch it! Liza was just great and we had a wonderful time. We wish her health and strength to make us happy again!

Liza's performance was full of energy. She was amazing to listen to as well as to watch. Her band were unvelieveably talented. The drums, the bass, the piano and trumpet were outstanding. The whimsical tunes such as Liza with "zee" not Lisa ......were added to show with great character. Cabaret was sung with ease and showed she was enjoying the show as much as her audience.
I was born overseas and had no opportunity to see Liza on the stage. Of course, I knew her, heard her and saw her in movies. But now, thanks to Casino Rama, I SAW HER! Yes, it was amazing. She gave an extraordinary performance. She is VERY alive, and I do not care that she sang a couple of songs sitting on a chair. All other songs - she was dancing! I would also mention that her orchestra is a fabulous collection of the best musicians! The bottom line: if you can buy a ticket to the next Liza's show - do it!
