Loverboy was great! First time hearing them live!! Excellent crowd of young and old , everyone dancing and having a great time... the security didn't even make them sit down. Kim M was great too, my 4th time hearing them live!! Perfect evening
Absolutely loved the Kim Mitchell & Loverboy show. KM & the boys came out and showed Summerside that they still “Have It!”. After the first 2 songs, the sound was incredible & perfectly dialled in! And it was a real nostalgic experience to be able to watch & hear the legendary LOVERBOY! I grew up listening to these Canadian beauties. Even though most of the songs had to be brought down to an octave where Mike Reno could belt his unmistakeable vocals, I was taken back to my childhood and back to the early moments I knew I wanted to play Rock & Roll in a band. Thanks to KM & LB for a great night listening to the soundtrack of my youth!
Loved Kim Mitchell but Loverboys' instruments were too loud for the vocals..... I really could not make them out so I left early. Very disappointed. :(
This show was absolutely amazing! We had such a great time. The venue was awesome. The show itself was awesome. The event staff was incredible loverboy and Kim Mitchell were both top notch.
Kim Mitchell sounded EXCELLENT and he and his band were fantastic Lover Boy needs to retire.
We really enjoyed Kim Mitchell. The lighting for Loverboy wasn’t great. Bass guitarist was often in the dark. Enjoyed the show as we had front row seats!
It was a great show. Kim Mitchell opened and he was awesome! Sounded the same as he always did and put on a great set. Loverboy came on an hour or so later and they sounded great! For guys in their late sixties and one in his seventies, their musicianship is still exceptional and Mike's vocals are as good as they ever were. well worth the drive. Keep rockin !!!
Great show by both. Awesome old songs that you can actually understand the lyrics.
It was awesome to finally see Loverboy live in concert. Had tickets years ago but that event was cancelled so when they announced they were coming back to my small hometown (Summerside PEI), we bought tickets right away. Thanks to both bands (Kim Mitchell - your show was awesome too) for giving us a night to remember.
Not a good show. Could hear but couldn’t see from front row seat. If you want people to stand need to make sure the seating is set up properly.
