LUDACRIS IN CONCERT:
As far as sonic recognizability goes, few rappers can top the unmistakable timbre of Ludacris' signature drawl. Luda has been an ubiquitous presence in rap music ever since his 1998 on-record debut, and with "Party Girls," the first preview single from eighth album Ludaversal, climbing charts in early 2014, he's showing no signs of slowing. Luda treated audiences at his 2013 shows to marathon sets of his greatest hits, and with a new album hitting shelves in 2014, fans are sure to get some special treatment on his upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born Christopher Brian Bridges in Illinois, Ludacris moved to Atlanta at age nine. After a stint as a radio DJ on Atlanta's legendary Hot 97.5, he scored his first mainstream exposure on the track "Phat Rabbit," a collaboration with Timbaland from the famed producer's 1998 album Tim's Bio: Life from da Basement. Ludacris built on this success with his 2000 debut album Back for the First Time, which contained several huge singles, and in 2003 he topped the Billboard 200 with third album Chicken-n-Beer. His next two albums would also top the chart, spawning classic No. 1's "Stand Up" and "Money Maker" and establishing him as one of rap's biggest players. With seven Top 5 albums under his belt and eighth album Ludaverse due out in 2014, anticipation for Luda's upcoming tour dates is at fever pitch.

I honestly expected it to be much better from all the other reviews. Everyone was disappointed after his show because it didn’t last that long. He kept saying he hasn’t even started the show so the pre show was like 50 minutes and the actual show was only 15. Very glad I didn’t pay for front row seats. Would’ve been a waste of money.
He was amazing!! Definitely recommend going to see him...high energy, interactive with his audience...relevant topics. Fantastic opening dj...warm up the crowd with tracks everyone knows and loves ❤
At Casino Rama, he was a hour late. He performed for under a hour. He sang along to his music videos. Blamed the staff he “had” to get off stage. Shortly after he was in Toronto posting on IG out with his friends. This was completely a waste of our money, time and efforts.
Short show, didn’t finish songs, sound equipment problems and longs lines for a beverage. All around waste of money for the show in Rama. More about money than a good show for the fans.
This was an awesome show! Took me right back to the 2000’s. He played all the songs you need him to!!
Was an awesome concert, high energy at all times, Luda didn't disappoint and neither did his DJ. I would have given a 5 but was surprised the concert was only 1hr 20min. The last hit was my favorite then lights went on Luda ran off the stage. I thought it was an intermission but sadly realized the concert was over and left me wanting more or at least an encore!!
He put on a good show.. for the hour and 15 minutes he played. And that's the total show, there was no opener.. What a joke. Most people drove 2 hours to see him, for a 75 minute show. Not to mention the hotel costs. He rushed through songs and his set. It ended abruptly with a half-ass thank you. One where you would expect an encore.. except there wasn't one. Honestly pathetic and a slap in the face to fans.
It’s was a great show. Never sat down once. Played all the great ones. Only complaint is that it was over by 9:30. Would definitely go see him again :)
Lots of energy, lots of excitement. But he didn’t get though any song fully which was disappointing, and he was on stage for an hour 830-930. Then posted pics of himself in Toronto before midnight. Had a bit higher expectations.
He was AMAZING, but he hit the stage just before 8:30 pm and was done at 9:30. A lot of people drove 3 hours return trip to come to this show, and for it to only last about an hour was a little shocking. He was great, I just wish he played longer and played all his hits (he did not sing Money Maker).
