MMA - Mixed Martial Arts Tickets

We were very disappointed at the start time that was advertised for the fights. Both the tickets and the email states 7pm start. Once we got there (6:45pm), we had missed 3 prelim fights. Terrible advertising for start time!! Also 1 fight in the main card was cancelled (it happens), so we basically missed 4 fights. Also, there was no clock to watch the time tick down for the fights. They had it in the corner of the 2 venue screens but it was so far away and so small, you could barely see it. Also the screens are not very sharp/clear. This was our second time at a Unified event at the River Cree and were quite disappointed. I hope this gets read and improvements are made.

Unified MMA is always a fantastic show. The tickets said 7pm. We arrived at 6:30 and we had already missed a fight. It wasn't clear that the fights started earlier or that there was an earlier door time. That would've been nice to know.

The venue was good but some of the match-ups were poor. Some of the fighters were very uneven which made for a very short and boring fight. In my opinion even though the Steele-Gracie fight was short it was the best fight of the night.

Overall I thought the event was very good. It was entertaining and exciting. I thought the main fight was a little disappointing due to the results. I feel that the decision should have gone the other way due to ring control and take down percentage. Unfortunately this is what happens when you leave it to the judges to decide.

There was some good fights but was disapointed a couple of matches were cancelled. The crowd was not very vocal or into it like a UFC event and I find it hard to see at live events looking through the cage, pads on the Octagon and many camermen blocking views. I am watching the screens more than the live action I payed to see so I might as well watch on my big screen at home and hear the commentating. It is more pleasurable at home and I don't miss any of the fights. I have sat just about everywhere at a fight and now realize you have to watch the screen pretty much no matter where you sit including floors, so it just does not make sense spending the rediculous amount of money to watch a screen anyway.

View was partially blocked to to glass railing trim.. Not worth $60 coulnt even drink in my seat Event sucked!
