    Thank you for the music!

by Anonymous on 2016-11-20Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Three generations of Mamma Mia fans, myself, my daughter and my granddaughter attended this show together. We have watched the movie more times than I can count and sang along with the music so this was a very antiicpated event for us! We were not disappointed ‼️ The actors fit their parts quite well, over all. The live band made the music so much better. The sets were very well designed and made for quick turn around between scenes, quick and smooth. It kept our attention from start to finish. My granddaughter was on the edge of her her chair all evening and that was a highlight for me,...to see her so excited and enjoying it so much!

    Mama Mia was Magnificent!

    by Cody12 on 2016-11-20Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Mama Mia was a charming musical with a talented cast. The male vocalists had incredible voices as did Donna's friends. Donna's daughter's voice was a bit inconsistent depending on the song. At times it was excellent, other times it was so so. The dancing was very good as well. Considering a lot had to be left out I felt the musical did a great job of the parts they left in. The supporting roles were very well done. My favourite part was Donna's funny friend. She was awesome and made me laugh out loud. The costumes were very good overall. It was creatively done and kept one's attention the whole time. It was fast paced and fun. I really enjoyed Mama Mia and was very glad I went.

    Mamma Mia just ok

by PaulAll on 2016-11-19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Sound mix was poor, set was minimal, dancing/choreography was minimal, and the 2 female leads had voices that didn't match their roles. Pretty flat opening set, with only a few second set highlights. Best part was the closing sing-a-long. Disappointing.

What a Fun Night at Mamma Mia in Abbotsford!!

by OutofBreath on 2016-11-19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Six of us lady friends had the pleasure of seeing Mamma Mia at the Abbotsford Entertainment Centre. It's a great venue - and the show was wonderful. We had such fun singing along and enjoying the story and the music.

    This is a terrible venue

    by Steve357063 on 2016-11-19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

Don't get floor seating. Normally a stage is higher(above head height so those in the crowd can see. This stage is lower and if you're not in the front row you can only see the top half of what's going on. The rest is blocked by audience heads. The audio was terrible. The main character could hardly be heard as her mic was so low. Next time I will miss seeing a play, rather than see it at this venue. I'm 6 feet tall and I had a hard time seeing.

    S0-So

    by Islandgirl72 on 2016-11-19Abbotsford Centre - Abbotsford

This wasn't my first time seeing Mamma Mia but I have to say, the other productions I have seen, were way better! The worst part was, security at the Abbotsford Center were allowing people to move seats. Next time I'll know I can just buy a cheap ticket and move to better, more expensive seats during the intermission! Soooo annoying!!!

You won't be disappointed by the energy and humour in this great show. You don't need to buy expensive seats to enjoy it.

Take a ch-ch-ch chance on this!

by MerryAnne on 2016-11-17Prince George CN Centre - Prince George

Wow... BROADWAY came to our city! Now, a hockey arena is not the perfect venue for this kind of thing but that's all we've got that would hold so many fans of Mamma Mia. It was packed! Now, I am a fan of live theatre to begin with (obviously was not alone) and this event was no exception. I have also seen the movie, a spoiler in a way, but could appreciate the differences. IF YOU GET THE CHANCE... take a chance, take a chance, take a ch-ch-ch-chance on THIS! And stay through the encore at the end or you'll miss half the fun! PS.. Also an ABBA fan - of course!
