The 7:30 Maron show was great. I was not at all impressed with the opening stand up comic. Completely underwhelming but I wasn't there for her . She was lucky to open for Maron. He was just who I expected. Funny, interesting, incisive. He's who he is and never fails to be real and honest and funny.
Venue was a terrible venue(oh ho ho) for a Comedy show. They had some seats set up in the front but a lot of people ended up having to stand. I don't understand why they couldn't have just rented 70 bar stools or something. As for Marc; if you were really into him and loved his podcast and all that - you'd like the event. Otherwise, for the rest of us I think it was just really average.
VERY funny and a good venue for comedy shows. It was worth every penny.
