Her recent television appearances - guest star on Season 2 of The Flight Attendant (HBO Max), guest star on Season 2 of Hacks (HBO Max) and two Netflix is a Joke comedy specials: Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration and Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin: Ladies Night Live - have expanded an already wide-ranging career, and her role as the 'mother hen' in the well-reviewed movie Fire Island solidifies why we all love Margaret in the first place.
As a comedian Margaret has been named one of Rolling Stone magazine's 50 Best Stand-Up Comics of All Time, one of Vogue magazine's Top 9 Female Comedians of all time, while CNN chose her as one of the 50 People Who Changed American Comedy. Thankfully, Margaret has more stories to tell, and her production company, Animal Family Productions, has multiple scripted shows in development for 2022 and beyond.
Warm up act was good. Margaret Cho was amazing. Unfortunately there were a group sitting direct behind us that shouted out through most of the show making it hard to hear her. Even though we were only 7 rows from the front in the middle isle.
As always, Margaret Cho delivered a solid set with great material. She always makes me laugh!
Never been to stand up show and to see her live was unreal for my first show!
I did not find the opening act appropriate for the audience. Italian macho is "out". Also, I was expecting Margaret to be a bit raunchy at a rate of 50% of her show, the other 50% witty, but I was slightly disappointed, despite her comic genius, that she relies too much on raunch rather than wit. Also, if she is touring other countries, she may want to rely on less American headlines/politics/personalities.
Great entertainer...... we would see her again. She is raunchy at best but still very funny lady. I love when she makes enuendos about her Mother. Show was entertaining from beginning to end. Her guy Rocco was also very good.
I’ve waited years for the chance to see Margaret Cho in person. She did not disappoint. The show was amazing. My sides still hurt from laughing!
The show was great. It was on time and funny! The headliner Rocco was good and Margaret Cho was fantastic!
Margaret Cho never ceases to amaze me! She's beautiful, brilliant and her raw raunchy comedy can be sad at times, you can't help but laugh! She's a true testament to 'you can't sweat the small stuff'. Her years of experience has given her so much insight and wisdom on the issues women face everyday - no matter how dark, there's always light at the end of the tunnel! Love Love Love You Margaret!
Margaret Cho was hilarious and amazing as always! Insightful, brass, and delightfully obscene, I was laughing all night!
The show was good , but 11/2 hours for 70 .00 it was not worth it . Was very funny but also got very serious .
