Martin Short Tickets

Great show except it ended too soon,about 1 hr 10 mins in total.

The show was great. Martin Short was as spry and witty as ever. Laughed and enjoyed his characters, movie/television clips and unforgettable humour.

I am still in pain from non stop laughter! In words, his talent, his personality, my laughter and words to describe it is like the Energizer Bunny, "it kept going and going and going"!

I never knew how talented Martin Short was until seeing clips of many of his performances (movies/Satruday Night Live/Second City, etc..) along with the joy of seeing Martin perform live....in Winnipeg no less! How fortunate for me and the Winnipeggers who were there! Laughed the entire evening....from comedy sketches, to portraying others to pure comedy....poking fun at himself many times. A talent that must be seen.....

My spouse and I had read his autobiography which gave us a lot of information about this wonderful comedian and actor. So we were intrigued and jumped on the opportunity to see him in person. His performance at the Club Regent Event Centre was no exception. Interspersed with video clips from the various TV and movies he's been in, he basically did a one-man show (accompanied by a pianist). He played several of his characters and in one, with "Jimmy Glick", our mayor, Brian Bowman, sat in as his straight man - he was a good sport! All in all, it was a hilarious, wonderfully entertaining evening. If he is in your city, go see him!

Excellent show. I am so happy I went to see him. The show started at 8:00 and ended about 9:30. He just kept performing without taking a break and him reliving those characters on stage again brought back many wonderful memories. I loved watching him on SCTV couldn't wait to watch the show. Thank you again for the wonderful show you are a special gift.

I've seen a lot of comedians and Marty is one of the best (up there with George Carlin). There were lots of hilarious film clips from movies, Second City and SNL and during those clips Marty would go backstage and change from one character to another. For a 65-year-old he is very agile, climbing onto the grand piano and changing positions all over it. He brought three men up onstage to play the roles of the Three Amigos. It was funny because he is so quick.

He was extremely funny and quick witted! Very entertaining.
