Altough Jill did not sing Broken for Good, I enjoyed the show immensely. They are great musicians. I like their quiet commentary, their choice of music.
Jill and Matthew Barber are a national treasure. They performed flawlessly, his work, her work and that of others, the likes of Neil Young and Ian Tyson. They held the audience perfectly and respectfully. Totally professional and completely endearing, we couldn't have asked for more.
This was a great concert! The space felt small and intimate and Matthew Barber is very engaging and puts on a great show. It was a pleasure to see!
It just got better and better! Oh Susanna was flawless (as always) and Matt Barber was spectacular - especially when joined on staged by Suzie, and his sister, the lovely Jill Barber (very Rufus and Martha). Having so much beauty and talent concentrated in one venue for one evening was virtually a miracle to behold. It would have been perfect if there had been chairs.
