METRONOMY IN CONCERT:
Blending slick, danceable funk and some of the brightest pop hooks to come out of Britain since the Beatles, Metronomy have found a well-deserved home with fans of floor-filling indie music. Known for their intricate choreography and creative use of stage lighting, the band never fails to deliver a nonstop dance party at their beloved live shows. With a highly anticipated album dropping in early 2014, Metronomy will be bringing more energy than ever to their North American tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from Devon, England, Metronomy got its start in 1999 as the solo project of composer and singer Joseph Mount. After establishing a reputation with his remixes and energetic live shows, Mount assembled a backing band around the project, ultimately keeping the new members on full time. 2006 full-length debut Pip Paine (Pay the £5000 You Owe) led to even more remix work as the band prepped 2008 sophomore album Nights Out, their first to land on the UK Albums Chart. With the release of The English Riviera in 2011, the band received their best reviews yet, wowing critics with the perfect balance of experimentation and pop savvy experimental yet accessible pop savvy and setting expectations sky high for the 2014 release of fourth album Love Letters.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Having already seen Metronomy once, I was prepared for a great show, but they far and away surpassed their previous performance. They are a true band. Catch them if you can."
"The musicianship was excellent: the tinkering on their vintage keyboards, switching between guitars, and interplay of vocals only augmented Joseph Mount's genius songwriting."
"Metronomy was sharp, charismatic, tight and dancey. The lead singer was witty and on his game, the other band members were polished and full of funky energy."

Loved the performance, great energy! I had a lot of fun!
Metronomy's performance was very good. I would like to go again.
I have been in a lot of concerts all over the , this had the most racist, homophobic, disrespectful and rude security manager I have ever met, and I never expected experience something like that in a Canada venue. It is a shame that people like him are in charge of the whole event. He just made the experience the worst concert ever. He has any quality to manage any problem in good terms, no active lisent, no good actitud, no good manners, no the proper knowledge to work as a manager in any customer service fiels. Please check the cameras. And prevent he be in charge ever again!
It was my second time seeing Metronomy, and like the last time they put on a great show. The band always looks like they're having fun, and the crowd is dancing and singing along the entire time. Always a worthy show to see!
Nice venue, the band was amazing. Pretty neat show
Metronomy played nearly 2 hrs for us and it was fun the whole time! The crowd was good and into it and the commodore was an amazing spot to dance.
They got a bit political mid concert and also i think she sound of the mic was off.
From the beginning to the end, they played with a lot of energy and they amazed us with different little twists during the show. They finished with a bang. it was un forgettable evening. Thank you Metronomy!
75 minutes of perfection and authenticity! They also had the great decency to speak french and for that we love them.
