One of the greatest show I've ever in in any form of media/arts. Would go again.

    Moscow Ballet "The Nutcracker"

by neveah on 2011-12-26The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Paso

I took my granddaughter, & my daughter & we all really enjoyed it! My question is-I saw it last year in Calgary, Alberta & ity was completely different, how come!! Are there different versions? Both were enjoyable but the ending in the Calgary preformance was "Amazing" The only disappointment was that we wereearly for the show & the only beverages you culd get were bar beverages; it would have been great to have been able to get tea, coffee, hot chocolate & some sort of snack.

    Moscow Ballet

by norskgirl on 2011-11-29E A Rawlinson Centre - Prince Albert

This was one of the most wonderful performances that I have ever experienced. ABSOLUTLEY MAGNIFICENT! Beautiful backdrops, costumes, music and non stop dancing. It was out of this world. Thank-goodness that tickmaster sent me an e-mail with the opportunity to purchase tickets because it was fantastic and I would have hated to have missed it.

I had a great time!!! I'm a bit biased, because I love swan lake, but still!!! The dancers were amazing, lead female especially, but the prince did nothing more than strut around in my opinion.

Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Swan Lake

by CharliesAngel07 on 2010-12-01Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

In the future I will attempt to find out whether a particular performance will include a live orchestra. I do not believe a ballet should ever be performed without a live orchestra. A tape recorder is not a good substitute. And then, who will ever forget that 1/2 the curtain came crashing down on the stage when the crew attempted to raise it to start the third Act. The old Concert Hall is definitely showing it's age. Maybe I am naive, but when the promo's said it was the Moscow Ballet, I expected something spectacular. Unfortunately, it was probably not as good as last years "Peter Pan" which I understand, was all local talent. Later in this review I am asked to submit photos. This is strange since we were all specifically asked not to take pictures ???????????????????

    AMAZING

by chasey28 on 2010-12-01Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

I loved it!! It was amazing, the costumes, the dancing, everything! I prefer the Moscow Ballet over the RWB anyday! I couldn't believe the turn out wasn't better the night I went. It was almost as if Winnipeg people only want to come out to support their own. I've been to the Ballet more then a few times and the turn out is always HUGE. This Ballet was the best i've seen in winnipeg by far and would see it again!

    russian swan lake

by Feline on 2010-12-01Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg

poor sound-recorded music, not live orchestra...no special effects such as dry ice as Winnipeg uses, cut some of my favorite choreography too!! Would have much rather paid to see Winnipeg do it!!!
