Motown the Musical (Chicago) Tickets

We saw Motown the Musical while in Chicago on vacation. Excellent renditions of all the popular Motown hits. Orchestra and singers were great, including a cute kid who played Michael Jackson as a child. The audience was refreshingly enthusiastic--much less reserved than a typical crowd back home--clapping hands, singing along and bopping around in their seats! Part of the fun was just being with them in the audience!

Great show... if you're at all a fan of Motown this show is a must... the performers were all excellent!!

The show was awesome! We really enjoyed the entire production. The audience interaction was really cool!

Play was great. Amazing singers, sounded like the real thing. Theatre decor itself is awesome to see too.

Great show, highly recommended! The show covers so many of Motown's library of hits, you'll be dancing in your seats! Thank you Berry Gordy for giving the world the music that is Motown, it will entertain forever!

This is an excellent show. Lots of the old Motown music and wonderful costumes. If you have the opportunity to see it...you should go. We got last minute tickets for $57 which made it even better.

We were in Chicago for a few days and wanted to see something new and different. We grew up with the Motown sound and this show did it all and told the story of a legend, many legends. The singing/acting was delightful and kept you rapt with attention for almost 3 hours.

Generally enjoyed the show. Couldn't catch a lot of the dialogue. Seats were too tight. Nice voices but no-one was outstanding. Quite a bit of the story contained reference to prejudices against Blacks. I felt the story should have been more about the music than the segregation. However I guess there were big obstacles to overcome in that regard.

great show, great music, young Michael Jackson was like going back in time.
