I honestly never thought that I would like the ballet, however the Royal Winnipeg Ballet did an amazing job. Very impressed. I bought the tickets as a Valentine's Day present for my wife and I must say that we had a great time. What a performance.
Moulin Rouge was rivetting and an amazing experience
I thoroughly enjoyed the ballet, had no problems following the story through the choreography, very well done!!! Sound was very good!
The performance was amazing- the dancers, the choreography, the sets, the costumes! Enjoyed the performance- it would have been even more enjoyable if there had not been a lady with BIG hair in front of me. Ladies when going to the theatre please leave the poofy hair at home!
Very, very, well done!! Great music and dance!! I just came back from Paris and this was more enjoyable than the real Moulin Rouge!!
The corpse the ballet, principal dancers, lights, all was amazing!!
The dancing was superb. The costumes were amazing. The music was very boring. The story came no where near the original story. People walked out during the intermission. So very disappointing and I absolutely love the ballet.
We are not regular theatre-goers but for a Valentines Day treat, I brought my boyfriend to the ballet. To my surprise he agreed. Yes, he is in the transportation business... a really guy's guy. He wasn't so impressed by having to wear the suit but was VERY impressed with the performance. The story was wonderfully told and the sets were fabulous. The choreography was an energetic cabaret-ballet. The dancers were well casted and technically good. The only thing I missed was the feeling of deep emotion in the performers. Perhaps that is something that you notice with you seat up close. Impressive dancing and a wonderful experience... even for the man who might not see himself at the ballet.... This may surprise you!
Colourful costumes, moving score, emotional performance. A true treat for anyone in love with French culture!
Well choreographed, great dancing, costumes, very entertaining show. Would love to see more shows like this one.
