Great Concert, but not the Venue

by VicF on 2018-02-18Neptune Theatre - Seattle

The concert was good, the band did their best. The sound was so-so, but I was mainly taken aback by the staff's attitude. After the show was over, there was a line to the restrooms and the coat check and some people just wanted to share their impressions about the show. The staff were very rude, literally telling people to get out ASAP. Will not go to this venue again.

    WILL GO AGAIN AND AGAIN!

by BabaYaga on 2011-11-16The Den - UoC - Calgary

Absolutely loved them, as usual - their charisma is through the roof! Peeps, you cannot expect an artist perform only the few songs you remember because you are not too big of a fan to listen to their new songs after you left Russia. They are not a mummified Lev Leshchenko to sing the couple of dozens hits from late 70's - if you want a tribute to your student years - get an HVS record! I keep listening to the album they were presenting and love it more and more thanks to that amazing feeling I was filled with at the concert. Come again, Mumiy!

    Alright

by Nadya6411 on 2011-05-13560 Seymour st - Vancouver British Columbia

Better then the concert before! Same old songs just change the line up! Open act was American and very annoying! It's pretty when girl next whispers no! Under her breath when Ilya invited band back on stage for there last song! Which was some stupid cover song! If band tours with them next time um not gonna go see them! Not very many people there! Maybe like 20! Now I see why!

gig was great, but we were waiting for too long

by Zakonnik on 2010-08-18Mod Club Theatre - Toronto

My wife and I enjoyed the gig. The only issue was waiting time. We arrived at 8 and the warm-up band did not start until 9:30 or so. Headliners did not play for long either. But it was an awesome gig.

    Worst performance ever

by Lolaa on 2010-08-18Mod Club Theatre - Toronto

Absolutely not what i was expecting. The band was shouting, not singing, many songs in English.. why? 99.9% of the crowd were russians, we wanted our favourite songs.. Seemed Lagutenko imagined himself a new punk rock star.. miserable. + the sound quality was very bad, no idea whose fault it was, band's equipment or club's facilities. Anyway, very poor performance without any emotions (which Mumiy Trol can bring out I'm sure about).

    Super Awesome

by Suhrizada on 2009-10-25The Starlite Room - Edmonton

I've never seen so many Russians and Ukrainians in one club))) The warm up band was horrible, but Mummij Trol was just awesome!!! The main singer knows how to make the crowd ballistic))) I would go again if he was planning to come back to Edmonton again. ^-)

Though I do not understand Russian I got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed Mumiy Troll last night at the Den. The place was rockin with mostly Russian expats both young and older who obviously were having a very good time indeed. The charismatic lead singer lead the band through many of their favorite tunes (judging by the reaction of the crowd) and played a great selection of ballads and knock your socks off rockers that had the crowd jumping from the moment the band walked on the stage to their last song of the evening. so why only 4 stars you ask? No encore.
