    Amazing!

by RainbowGoddess on 2015-12-18Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I have been a fan of the Mythbusters for years, and being able to see Jamie & Adam up close was an amazing experience. Granted, they weren't able to blow up anything, but the show was fantastic just the same. There was a Q & A session with Jamie and then one with Adam, so the people who weren't able to attend the post-show Q & A were able to ask questions. Adam made an effort to get girls & women to ask him questions, which I liked. The behind-the-scenes film clips were fun to see, especially the tour of M5. I liked the way Adam still sounds excited about his work after all these years. I'm sorry to hear that this is Jamie's farewell tour. We were permitted to take photos with our phones as long as there was no flash. Videos were not permitted.

    Mythbusters in person? Meh

by Colorful on 2015-12-18Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

We were excited to see Adam and Jamie live at QE and expected a great show. Unfortunately, although we thought we had great seats near the front on the right side of the theater, we could not see part of the stage. Most of the action/talking was up front however, and there were side screens in addition to the larger ones on stage at the back. We felt they talked too much and relied on footage of past stunts. Although it was great that they used audience participation as part of their show, I thought they could have done some new material for people who paid up to $75 a ticket each. We were sitting behind a family with 2 young kids and they seemed bored for most of the show. I can't believe their parents paid $75 each for them to attend, cheaper for a sitter! While it was a family friendly show, I would say 8 years and up for sure.

    For children

Really it's just them talking about moments on the show, little stories, doing experiments you'd find in a local science center. It's not bad, but it's marketed a bit wrong. Do not bring a date unless you are DIE HARD FANS If you are occasional watchers, skip it

My husband, son and I watch the TV show and we love it. I wasn't sure how it would translate to the live stage. It was awesome. They were so much fun.

What a great show. The surprise guest was a great addition to the show. Was even better than watching them on tv except they couldn't blow anything up

It was an amazing show! So many laughs had by all. Having Chris Hadfield on stage at the end was the best surprise of the night!

    Pure entertainment!

by JBMaj on 2014-12-03Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

All I ask from any performance that I attend whether it be a sporting event, concert or live show is that I get entertained for my money. The Mythbusters show delivered more than entertainment. We were on the edge of our seats from beginning to end. We learned things, we were dazzled and I can't tell you how much we laughed. These guys really put on a show and the counterpoint between Adam and Jamie that you see on the TV show truly shows through on stage.

    Mythless

by Choppette on 2014-12-02Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Some fun moments but not worth the money. The 2012 show was marginally better. Jamie & Adam rock the TV set but fizzle on stage. A performance at a venue (i.e. outdoor stadium) where they can do more demo 'experiments' would be more entertaining.
