A must visit event for anyone that loves music!

by CoYo on 2014-05-12New Orleans Fair Grounds - New Orleans

We attended 3 days of this festival, and we really enjoyed the big acts like Christina Auguilera, Bruce Springsteen, John Fogerty, and Arcade Fire. The talent throughout the day was amazing as well. The crowd was a varied mix of ages and very mellow. All with the common bond of loving music. The food was great and you just can't beat this for entertainment value. We've been twice and will return again!

    Springsteen!

by Orlee on 2014-05-07New Orleans Fair Grounds - New Orleans

Lined up at 8AM to get in the gates. Spent all day standing and hanging on to a fence to keep our spot for the Springsteen Concert at 415PM. Met some GREAT people and we spelled each other off for breaks etc. Thanks to the 3 Jersey girls, the girls from the bayou and the ex-DJ from Wisconsin...Springsteen put on a fantastic show (as he always does)

    Jazz Fest so fantastic!

by RB2014 on 2014-04-30New Orleans Fair Grounds - New Orleans

This was my first trip to New Orleans. I had purchased a two day pass, but sadly due to really sore feet from all the walking, sight seeing and dancing done in NOLA, could not rise to attend the second day.... Would do that differently next time just to make sure I attended the two days because there are so many fantastic musicians to see. Mavericks, Robin Thicke, and Robert Plant were the ones that I did see and they were all outstanding. Really great venue (although the portable toilets could use very regular replenishing of toilet paper / or just bring your own). Really great event and highly recommend attending it.

Santana was incredible. Also enjoyed Boz Scaggs. Eric Clapton was great but wish he had played more of his popular hits. Most stages were standing only...seats should be added.
