New York Giants History
A cornerstone franchise of the National Football League, the New York Giants began play in 1925. Legally, the Giants are named “The New York Football Giants,” which distinguished them from the “New York Giants” baseball team that called New York their home until 1975, before moving to San Francisco.
As one of the most awarded franchises in history, the Giants have won eight league championships — including a victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, their second in five seasons. The Giants (also known as the G-Men, the Jints and the Big Blue Wrecking Crew) are the only franchise in the NFL with a Super Bowl victory in each of the last four decades.

New York Giants at MetLife Stadium
The Giants are an institution with a storied history, and loyal fans can remember games at Yankees Stadium in the Bronx, Shea Stadium in Queens, the Yale Bowl, and Giants Stadium. MetLife Stadium, which became the Giants’ home stadium starting in 2010, is housed at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and is also home to the New York Jets, making it one of only two stadiums shared by two NFL teams.
The stadium cost approximately $1.6 billion to construct, which at the time made it the most expensive stadiums to be built in the U.S. With a capacity of 82,500, MetLife Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the NFL. The stadium has hosted such major sporting events as the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl XLVIII, Copa America Centenario Final, and the 2021 Army-Navy Game. It will also serve as a site for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The New York Giants’ schedule release video was uploaded on May 11, 2023, and features Giants players announcing the schedule via an escape room. You can watch the clip here.

I live near Toronto and was in NY for the weekend for a Rangers game & saw the Giants in the afternoon just to kill some time. Great seats in Sec 231A, tailgating was the best part of the whole day. Took a bus out to Met Life Stadium for $4.50, $6 return trip. Great value. Seats were expensive but a great view and reasonably close to field. The Giants were HORRIBLE but the tailgating was awesome. Sat in front of a Giants fan who complained all game about how bad the Giants were. Lots of empty seats near us but the tailgating was fabulous. Talked to many fans while tailgating and they offered us some of their food. Fans are really passionate about their team. Two of us went through 16 beers in about 3 hours and were still able to see the game. The tailgating was awesome.
My wife and I travel down to MetLife Stadium once a year to see the Giants play and it's always a great time. The staff, food/beverage choice and sight lines from our seats have always been stellar! Sadly, the only blemish this time around was that we lost to our division rival, Philly. In any event, we'll be back next year!
It was the Odell Beckham Jr show on sunday with 3 TD ctaches and almost a 4th. Excellent experience at MetLife stadium. I even got a certificate for attending my first game there.
Game and venue was amazing.... The only issue was it was raining and they took our umbrellas and never returned them.
As expected, we had a great day at the game! My wife and I make it an annual event to attend at least 1 NY Giants game a year. It was a bonus that our beloved NY Giants won as well! I should mention that as always, Ticketmaster continue to make it easy and convenient to purchase tickets to many different events, which is truly appreciated!!
Defense at it's best!! Was a great game!! The Chase club seats were amazing and the stadium is exceptional!!
Good seats, easy access. Washrooms close by. Not the section with the most ambiance. Tailgating is very good. Leave early to get to the game
