    Oysterband was awesome!

by geno35 on 2012-10-13The Banff Centre - The Club - Banff

Intimate setting (only 60—70 people attending). Wonderful sound (full but not loud). Great songs and wonderful musicianship. A treat!

The Oysterband - 35 years and still brilliant

by Rhino on 2010-04-18West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

With a catalog of amazing songs and tremendous musicianship the Oysterband took to the West End Cultural Centre stage and with a very friendly and understated greeting began a 90 minute set that was magic. Covering a wide range of the discography and a good deal of the most recent new material the band played with a pride and joy that has been huge a part of their appeal for over 35 years. The age may show on the faces but not in the spirit or the voices which soar to fantastic heights and carry the audience with them. Despite Ian Telfer being relegated ,by an injured achilles tendon, to sitting on a stool rather than stalking about the stage
