The opera house <3 No matter what this is the best venue ever. I stand by that opinion. I got there late so I didn't get to see any of the opening bands. Turisas half assed their show to be quite honest. They're an amazing band, and maybe they're just not used to headlining I'm not sure. But they definitely could have done better compared to the other times I've seen them. Regardless they were still good.

    Paganfest: sound only OK...

by Hase on 2012-04-04The Opera House - Toronto

I went there mostly to see Turisas, but some of the other bands were great surprises. Alestorm was lots of fun. A bit disappointed by the change of accordion to keyboards on Turisas, but that's on the band, not the concert itself. Overall, the sounds could have been better. The changing time between bands I guess can not be minimized further, but 6 bands on a Monday night is a bit on the too long side (Turisas came to stage by 11PM), so I would rather make it 3 bands so that people can really focus on them.
