Excellent quality of tennis. Great venue. Would be great if they eventually have a covered facility so the rain delays were less. Food was expensive and more concessions would be nice.
Not to be missed. Any Pan Am Game you can attend you should go. Infectious crowd (although every event should be sold out). Lots of cheering - athletes - amazing skills!!!!
I thought it was great value for the money. Lots of matches. The Canadians won gold in ladies doubles so that was very exciting. I was not thrilled with the lack of stuff available at the venue. Not much for shopping or other things to do. There was not much of a selection for food, which was disappointing. That being said, it was a great day to watch tennis!!!
Great to be able to watch this level of calibre of tennis players from our neighbouring countries locally. The event was well done but the venue was lacking! Construction all around the site, parking not clearly identified and requiring walking quite a distance from the venue.
We arrived at the venue and thought seats were assigned, as per the ticket. We were advised it was a General Admission event. Fortunately we arrived early and had our choice of seats. Also there were no seats in the stadium as per your seat allocations.
No Pan Am booths of entertainment like other locations. No fun facts about Pan Am tennis from over the years. The food that was available was horrible!!! The hotdog dissolved in your mouth! Disgusting!!
We could only stay for one match due to the intense sun and we were getting burned. There were no shaded places other than the food concourse and the match couldn't be viewed there.
Game itself was great. Very difficult to get to the court for two old ladies going by TTC. Was not given correct information.
Barrientos of Colombia showed that focus, determination, and consistency counts for a lot in tennis, by coming from behind 3 times during his singles match to win the match, and then go on to win a silver medal. Really inspiring match to watch.
Had a wonderful time at the tennis. We took the TTC to get to the tennis centre and that went very well. All of the volunteers, both those from the TTC and the Pan Am volunteers, were extremely helpful in assisting us in finding our way around. It is a really great deal with general admission tickets costing $20,00 including service charge allowing you to sit anywhere at centre court for the whole session. We had a wonderful day.
