About

Paul Brandt, the Canadian cowboy crooner from Calgary, Alberta, became an international country music star with his 1996 debut album Calm Before the Storm. The former pediatric nurse had embarked to Nashville a year prior to hone his craft, and the endeavor led to two Top 10 singles on the Hot Country Songs chart: his debut single “My Heart Has a History” and its immediate follow-up “I Do,” which reached a career peak at No. 2 on the chart. Calm Before the Storm charted on the Billboard 200 and was eventually certified gold by the RIAA. Following subsequent releases like 1997’s Outside the Frame and 1999’s That’s the Truth, Brandt started his own Brand-T record label and self-produced projects such as his 2007 Juno Award-winning album Risk and the 2012 gospel-infused Just As I Am. In 2018, he released the ambitious two-part EP series The Journey YYC, Vol. 1 and The Journey BNA, Vol. 2. Throughout his nearly three-decade career, Brandt has collaborated with Keith Urban, Lindsay Ell, Deana Carter, John Anderson and more.

Best show I’ve seen in a long time

by Jimc4940 on 2023-12-05FirstOntario Concert Hall - Hamilton

We had a great time, this show was very entertaining and took are minds off of the daily troubles that we are facing today, in the world. I would even say, it was better than the show/event that we seen, the previous week across the street, at the other venue.

by Sabrina on 2023-12-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

This was amazing I truly enjoyed it! Such a personal experience with a small crowd no band just Paul and Terry playing singing sharing stories and being them! Absolutely loved this show I sang along learned the story behind some songs and that makes me like them even more! Would definitely attend this kind of event again!

    sound quality

by fan on 2023-12-03National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

found sound often was so loud that music sounded tinny. lot of conversation could not be heard in my upper seat. If sound quality was better, then just the 2 musicians would have been more enjoyable. Musicians tried to interact with the auditorium and bring humour. Sight lines were good. Thank you for bring these 2 Canadiens to Ottawa.
