We really enjoyed the music--the man has an outstanding voice. Unfortunately he has little stage presence or showmanship.
I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase tickets to Paul Potts in Toronto. I travelled 2500Km to be at the concert and would certainly do this again. The sound of his voice at the Elgin Theater in Toronto was melodic and with perfect pitch. I know the voices of many of the opera greats and Mr. Potts has a quality found only in the very best of voices. He has the ability to bring emotion pouring from the soul, sometimes without really knowing why. His voice is that good. If you have never listened to opera type vocals and even if you are a seasoned listener, you will have a place in your life experience for this gem of a performance. Thanks for the pictures after Paul with me and my son!! Continued best wishes and fortune.
Paul Potts has come a long way since his appearance, and eventual win on Britain"s got Talent. He is very personable on stage and his voice is first class. I would definately go see him again.
Paul Potts put on a dynamic performance and was engaging as a story-teller. I loved that he told us about his muscial selections and some of his travels and experiences. Diane Di Stasio was a perfect balance to him and the music was well chosen for the audience. The Elgin Theatre provided a magical backdrop to the performance and we truly enjoyed the whole evening. Mr. Potts is developing well as a professional entertainer.
We first heard & saw Paul Potts on Google & showed it to many friends. We have his 2 CDs & have played them many times both at home & in our car driving to & from Florida. The show exceeded our expectations & we enjoyed his interaction with the audience. He is immensely appealing & his voice sounded even better than on tape. His choice of arias & songs were enthusiastically by the audience. All around a very entertaining evening.
I found his music very emotional and hard to believe he has not been noticed until now. Somehow his being new with entertaining his being real and so appreciative gives him that extra quality.
When I viewed Paul Potts’ performance on the show 'Britain's Got Talent' on YouTube, I was completely blown away, rendered speechless. I have, since then, enjoyed both of his albums “One Chance” and “Passione” a great deal. On July 18th, however, I witnessed the talent of an incredible superstar. This shy, most humble man wowed us not only with his voice, but also his personality. He connected with his audience by adding clever, humorous anecdotes of himself. This is a man who truly cherishes the success he has achieved without a hint of pretension. The standing ovations he received were truly deserved. To top off this magnificent evening, he autographed my program after the show and said: “Thank you for coming”. Gracious is the word that comes to mind.
We travelled up from Nova Scotia to see our second Paul Potts concert in 16 months and were not disappointed. It was a great concert and well worth the trip.
Gave my mom tickets for the show for her b'day because she LOOOOVED Paul Potts. But she said he didn't sing any of the songs he's known for and only sang classical opera- which is fine an all but i think as an up and coming you should at least sing a couple songs that put you centre stage and not just classical opera.
