    Only one Jam song?

    by Grimey123 on 2017-10-19Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Overall a decent concert; multiple Style Council tunes, and the backing band was super tight, but the fact there was only one Jam hit played (despite selling Jam merchandise at the gig) left me thinking Mr. Weller doesn’t “get” his audience. I certainly don’t regret it, but I would never pay to see him again. Amazing venue (The Commodore in Vancouver) with great staff!

    Too mellow

by Anonymous on 2017-10-19Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Shout to the top was the only oldie he played. The rest of the songs were too mellow. Last time I will see Weller.

    The Godfather reigned supreme

by wwtks on 2017-10-19Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

2 nights in a row at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver were a pure treat. Sharing the experience with a few hundred 50 somethings reliving their past history as Weller fans only added to the experience. One of the greatest things about seeing Paul Weller this week was the fact that this is not an artist doing a comeback tour after 40 years in the business - which he could so easily do based on the rabid Jam fans we were in the audience with - this was someone still very much on their game with great songs from a great new album with all the live energy and flair of someone half his age - probably more comfortable in his own skin than he has ever been - a joy to watch over 2 evenings - and what a venue to see him in!!

    Weller in MPLS

by homebrew on 2017-10-17Pantages Theatre - Minneapolis

I have been a fan of this artist since the late 70’s with his bands The Jam, The Style Council as well as his solo work. I drove 8 hours to see him and would drive twice as far to see him again. A career spanning set list with many surprises. The final two songs in the 2nd encore Broken Stones, Changingman into the final two songs of the evening in the 3rd encore, a cover of Curtis Mayfields Move On Up and segueing into The Jam classic A Town Called Malice. Magical!

    Excellent set!

by Pacemaker on 2017-10-14The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Paul Weller is still such an amazing singer, amazing songwriter, and amazing live act. He hasn't lost anything to age. Fantastic show, great flow to the set, and THREE ENCORES! Love it!

    Another ace performance.

by Fowlski on 2017-10-14The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Such a good venue, always reminds me of the Brixton Academy, but smaller. Good views all round. Weller rocks it, again, always... on stage for c.2 1/2hours 4 encores. I’ve lost count of how many times and places I have seen him but this was up there. Loved the old choons that he plays, hard to get away from classics like Into Tomorrow and Wild Wood, or hark back to Style Council and Jam hits. Felt like he wanted to play more of the new stuff but... brilliant. Come back soon.

A Kind of Revolution Tour show was Kind of Boring

by KindaBlue on 2017-10-13The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Paul Weller and the show was lacking consistent energy. The musicianship was top notch, but that couldn't save the many parts of the show that really dragged. Please note, the song list was heavy on newer, less familiar material and very light on Jam and Style Council material. Cheers.

    Had a good time

by AJM60 on 2015-06-19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Paul Weller was great. The light show was awful as for about 1/2 the concert lights were shinning directly into our eyes. There was also quite a bit of feedback so I don't know if they had had time to do a full sound check earlier in the day. The band and Paul were excellent so I still had a good time.

    Wonderful Weller

by Mcbarney on 2015-06-18The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

An excellent evening of rock, played by a vibrant band on top form. The back catalogue was given a thorough workout, much to the pleasure of the raucous crowd.
