Penn & Teller began performing together in the late '70s as part of a trio that included Wier Chrisimer. After Chrisimer's retirement in 1981, they continued on as a duo, finding success with their 1985 Off Broadway show and Emmy-winning TV special Penn & Teller Go Public. By 1987 they had made it to Broadway proper, rounding out their successful run with regular appearances on Letterman and Leno and extensive touring. Nearly four decades after their first show, Penn & Teller remain more vibrant than ever, hitting the strip in Vegas in 2014 for a highly anticipated residency at the Rio.
