Personally, I'm not a fan of country music. However, I can appreciate good artists. I really enjoyed the last 2 performances.

    Zac Brown was amazing!!

Prairie Jam was incredible. I really liked that there was hardly any time between acts. Having the two stages made this possible. Would attend next year if it became an annual eent.

    Prairie Jam was Fabulous

by Guitarcurler on 2014-08-14Investors Group Field - Winnipeg

I was impressed by the organization of the event, the variety of the acts, the on time scheduling. There was plenty of security to maintain crowd control. All in all it was a terrific day. The stadium was a great place to hold the outdoor event and fortunately the weather co-operated. The parking was well marked and controlled.

    Prairie Jam was totally fantastic!

The weather was great; the organization was very good; the bands were wonderful. The best compliment I can give is the heartfelt wish for Prairie Jam II in 2015.

    Thompson square was super

by Redflowers on 2014-08-13Investors Group Field - Winnipeg

The one main complaint I had was the Jumbo Tron was turned off for the Zack Brown Band, which I really wanted to see. Then they turned the lights down so low you couldn't even see the band on stage. I might as well have been sitting at home listening to a CD,. Myself and many others were in the same position in regards to seeing the performers, and when the staff was asked why the Jumbo Trons were not being used, the only answer anyone got was "I don't know" and obviously did not care. I will not be returning to Invertors group field anytime soon. Also I needed a cab after the event and there were none to be found and the staff shut down the event and really didn't care if a cab came or not. Also, what happened to the shuttle service for this event.

Zac Brown was awesome! Need bigger and better bands if they want it to be a yearly event. If Zac Brown had not been so good I would of given it 3 stars based on poor bands. IGF was great though!

Prairie Jam was great, the schedule needed to be posted earlier than it was. We anticipated an afternoon music jam and were very surprised when we arrived to hear that it would go til 10 or 11 PM. We had a 3 hour drive home after so made for a very late Sunday night. Perhaps a day other than Sunday or starting at noon and going until 8 PM would be great also.

Great show. Great bands. The sound and lights stands blocked the view to the stage thou.

We were not happy with the sound system. Where we say we could not make out the words for both the artist as well as the host. So we were not happy with it. I would go again as long as the sound system gets fixed

    Prairie Jam

by Bober7 on 2014-08-13Investors Group Field - Winnipeg

Over-all it was a great day. The early acts need to feature bigger names to attract the crowd and get the party rolling sooner. Not sure why they went head to head with WeFest but I guess they were hoping to attract a couple more bands.
