About

Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine, Chuck D and DJ Lord of Public Enemy, and B-Real of Cypress Hill have lived the resistance from day one. They are beyond being just a band, they are a counteroffensive —  they are Prophets of Rage! An elite task force of revolutionary musicians here to wake us up, encourage us to question everything, find our voice and fight for our rights. All served on a soundtrack of furious rhythm and rhyme. It’s no surprise that in the midst of 2016’s tumultuous election, the revolutionary musicians would join together as Prophets Of Rage to combat the incoming storm. We welcome them to Download for their first Australian show. A pummeling live set that will feature tracks from their album, as well as a range of tracks from the back catalogues of the aforementioned bands!

Please note, the show is now 18+, however all previously purchased tickets for patrons under the age of 18 years will be honoured. A designated area will be made available for underage patrons.

Amazing show. B-Real offers a solid vocal performance and doesn't hesitate to be among the crowd. He did some bodysurfing while singing. Musicians are strong technically, especially Tom Morello. This show was a real surprise and is now among my 5 best shows ever.

    Prophets of Grohl

by jaimz on 2016-08-30Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

What a show. What a fabulous amazing show. All the guys were amazing and then having Dave Growl come out and play a song was an absolute thrill of a lifetime. Watching Chuck D rock out to punk rock made my day, my year, my decade. I love these guys in their OG bands, but together, this super band puts all others to shame. Great show, great sound, amazing musicians. Thank you for making Canada Rage Again!

    Great show!!

by Roma on 2016-08-29Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

I attended this show looking forward to hearing RATM songs, and was not disappointed! The setlist included mostly Rage songs, with a healthy mixture of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill songs as well. Those fans of the latter two bands may have felt there could have been more PE and CH songs, but this was definitely a rock show first and foremost. The band sounded great, and B-Real vocals on the Rage songs were great. Chuck D also deserves a tip of the hat for his efforts on the Rage songs, but like a fine red wine that goes best with steak, Chuck D's one-of-a-kind baritone is best suited for PE hip-hop. One of the best shows of the summer. On an additional note, lawn seats at the venue were only $25, and when we entered, they offered us a free upgrade to the 400's since those seats were not sold out. Can't think of any band ever doing that in all the concerts I have ever been to.

    Insane Energy!!!

by NudeDragon on 2016-08-27Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

Profits of rage was definitely in my top three concerts of all time! Wasn't sure how it would be without zack on vocals, but those two guys did an amazing job! The power and the funkiness of the band gets into the veins of the people watching them and the energy of the crowd was something like I've never seen before. I would go to that concert again and again if I could

    Energy! Talent!

by Peejhey on 2016-08-27Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

I've seen 100s of shows in my life since the 80s. This is one for the ages. Next level. The energy that the band gave fed to the audience and that fed back to the band. Amazing. And then Dave Grohl making a guest appearance! The place just blew up. It was mostly Rage Against the Machine material and I wanted more new stuff but it didn't matter. Fantastic show

Great show sound could use improvement

by Quicksanddan on 2016-08-27Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

Show was great but the sound was wonky the first few tracks and then again closer to the end, def more sound balancing needed, amazing show though. Don't expect to hear Chuck D as he eats the mic.
