About

Alternative rockers Puddle of Mudd have earned an army of dedicated fans with a slew of No. 1 hits like "Blurry," "She Hates Me" and "Away from Me," Most fans who are lucky enough to get a ticket to a Puddle of Mudd concert find that the lead singer-guitarist, Wesley Scantlin, has a commanding stage presence and a powerful voice. Though the band has not released an album since 2011, Puddle of Mudd continues to tour, singing its most popular hits to die-hard, dedicated fans.

The band's roots are in Kansas City, Missouri, where they began playing together in 1991. However, their first studio album, Abrasive, was not released until 1997. This album was so limited in its release, though, that many of the songs were re-released on the next album, 2001's Come Clean. Popular singles from this album included "Control," "She Hates Me," "Blurry" and "Drift & Die," which helped Come Clean sell over five million copies and reach No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their next album was 2003's Life on Display, which reached No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and featured the hits "Away from Me," "Spin You Around" and "Heel Over Head." The 2006 follow-up, Famous, includes hit singles Psycho and the title track. In 2009, Puddle of Mudd released Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love and Hate, an album that featured songs "Stoned" and "Spaceship". In 2011, the band members released a cover album, Re:(disc)overed, and also announced that they were continuing to write more original songs to release in a future album.

So dissapointed cuz this was a great band!

First song was great. Then they played Gimme Shelter from the Stones which was good. Then they digressed. Wes seemed to get totally wasted, rambled on and on, played Elton John??? I paid to hear Puddle of Mudd! Played Blurry and Wes' mouth wasn't even moving then he seemed to get totally confused and lost and the show was over! Maybe 6 songs???

Puddle of Mudd was ok. The drink line ups were ridiculous for the amount of people there, and there were not that many. It was ok, the venue was way too big, and Puddle of Mudd didn't deserve that big of a venue. They're more of a bar band now.

    Puddle of Mudd was awesome

I purchased tickets because I am a huge fan of Puddle of Mudd. They did not disappoint! The band was awesome, the lead singer interacted with the crowd a lot and seem to be having a lot of fun( the southern comfort might have helped) Overall the band was GREAT! The venue... totally sucked. The line up for the bar was retarded and there was only one. People were throwing there drinks, pushing, smoking and a lack of security. If you are looking for a good concert go to Puddle of Mudd but make sure its not one that the Wolf presents.

    Puddle of Mudd

opening act entertained the crowd with a good variety.I Wanna Rock and Roll all day and party every night was the best tune of the night with the costumed Gene Simmons making the best of his 3 minutes of fame by getting many roars from the crowd with his great rendition. Wes Scantlin had a shaky start, but finished strong. I think he, and the crowd, thought he got better as He (they) got more loaded. Don't think they were at the top of their game and the sound in the room was horrendous at times. Event coordinators need to have more people pouring booze and they could have easily extended the bar to accomodate the crush of costumed crazies. It was an entertaining night but the sound quality was very poor and Scantlin didn't really bring it. These middle of the road bands need to learn to appreciate their fans, and bring their A game every night if they want to stay current and ensure their own longevity in the business.
