    Dream come true

    by S. W. on 2022-11-30

Seeing quicksand, even as second bill was amazing. Tight execution all around. Still one of the most underated bands to come out of the 90s.

    I wish I stayed home

by PetetheViking on 2013-01-19Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I've been a fan for20 years and slip is one of my all time favourite albums. Although the band brought a lot of energy, the sound was brutal. The vocals were painful to listen to. No crunch to the guitars. The whole thing was just awkward.

    Quicksand still got it

by graice on 2013-01-11The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

It was nice to relive my youth for the evening especially when the band still played as tight as they did back then. Maybe it's me being from a different generation but, I was happy to see that when the band went on...barely anyone was on their smartphones texting/tweeting/blogging about the show ..they actually watched it. It was nice to hear audience participation by waying of chanting their tunes then to hear some hipster tween talk about their latest download on the iphone. KUDOS. It was a good night...need to have more 19+ showings.

    solid show

by scallen on 2012-08-27Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

i was a bit disappointed it wasn't an eight band hip hop fest as the talented opening beatboxer suggested, but that Quicksand band was pretty good. i'd go see them again.
