    Great Concert! Great Venue!

by Skamaster on 2019-09-24REBEL - Toronto

Pennywise and Rancid were awesome and lived up to expectations. Rebel nightclub is great, just don't expect to get close to the band, as the bar is long and narrow, making it difficult to get up front. Parking is right across the street, but leaving takes quite a while as side streets are narrow and traffic backs up fast.

    Amazing!

by TK on 2019-09-23REBEL - Toronto

The show was awesome! We arrived in time to see Pennywise and Rancid. Both band were so great. Except for a minor microphone issue at the beginning of Pennywise, the sound was wicked. The venue was great. The only thing that I was bummed about was that the Mezzanine tickets were not available in the presale.

    Good show

by Parker on 2019-09-20REBEL - Toronto

The show was great. For a buncha old guys both bands, still kicked ass! Way too fancy of a venue for a punk show. VIP booths sitting empty while people try and cram in beside the bar. Wtf. Who's gonna get bottle service for a punk show. Pretty tone deaf but I'd expect nothing more from INK entertainment and their venues

    Rancid still fresh

by Cam on 2019-09-20REBEL - Toronto

Rancid was fantastic, they still have it going and the crowd went nuts. Lots of fun. Pennywise and the Beat were both great acts and brought lots of energy to the show. I'd pay to see either one headline. Rebel, the venue, is great once you get there and if you can get out. It's way off the beaten path with no public transport nearby. It took ages to get out of the parking lot but I'd still rather stay sober and drive rather than try to hail a cab or Uber. As I said the venue is great, good sound and sightlines. Lots of bars and good staff but the location sucks. Oh and not that it mattered but there is no Ale at the bar. If I wasn't the DD I would have had no choice but lager.

    Pure energy!

by SirNoble on 2019-09-20REBEL - Toronto

Everything about this show had a great vibe! The English Beat were a blast from the past which was upbeat and fun. Pennywise came with there usual high energy set that had all the fans chanting and hollering along. Rancid came out after all the energy of pennywise which is a hard act to follow. They played a good mix of old classics with a few newer songs and had the whole place dancing and singing along. It was absolutely amazing! I had a great time and highly suggest going to see any of these bands if you get a chance.

    Awesome show, terrible venue

    by Rickmcg163 on 2019-09-20REBEL - Toronto

Excellent show but the venue was terrible. The drinks were $9 each which is way too expensive. Could barely move inside just to get a drink or use the washrooms. Venue location is bad, taxi to and from union station was great after being charged $9 a drink. Definitely will see Rancid again, but will NEVER return to REBEL club.

    Rancid WOW

I have seen both bands several times and it was all I hoped it would be. We flew in to Van to see the show and almost flew to Seattle to see them a second time. Loved IT wish it were at a smaller venue for a closer view but glad to just be there.
