by weeder on 2012-11-13The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoTo be honest I only went because my spouse is a fan from following Delaney on Twitter. I've been to a lot of live comedy shows and this was not on my top 10 list for sure. It's easy to be funny when you are limited to a short blurb of random thought on Twitter. That doesn't necessarily translate to a 60 minute live show. We had attended a Just for Laughs event 2 nights earlier so maybe my expectations were set too high but I thoroughly enjoyed JFL and could not wait for Delaney's show to be over. I also thought it was super annoying to make people wait in the audience for over an hour before the show started. Really?? I've never experienced that at any live comedy show I've ever been to even for well known performers like Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, and Louis CK. Maybe I need to be a 22 year old guy to get Rob's humour - oh well! My husband enjoyed it well enough - he did concede JFL was better though.
