Robert Munsch Tickets

Robert Munsch is an Amazing story teller. He brings so much life into his story telling with his various sound effects and animated personality. It is unfortunate to see him receiving criticism in other reviews despite the fact he has been recovering from a stroke which has affected his speaking abilities. I think it is amazing that he has persevered with what he is so obviously passionate about despite the health issues. Go Munsch!

Taking my son to see a classics kids author was just supposed to be a fun night out for the two of us but watching Robert Munsch turned out to be unforgetable.

We went to Munsch due to the fact that we had read all the books and I wanted my daughter to see the man behind it all. He called children onto the stage (a few of which were friends of ours, so that made it a bit more entertaining) and basically receited his books but used their names in the stories (although he kept messing up the name of one girl, which we thought was funnay as we were sitting next to the mom). I was expecting more of an inspiration as to his process and letting his readers know how he comes up with his ideas - anything insightful that would perhaps get the kids thinking about how they can be more creative. Yeah didn't happen. It was an hour long and became tiresome shortly after the first 15 minutes.

I took my nephew and before we went he was not impressed to go but while we were there he was so happy about being there and he had so much fun I also had a great time.
