    Robin Hood - Sensational

    by Kienova66 on 2010-01-08Elgin Theatre - Toronto

An absolutely wonderful musical. It was family friendly but had many attributes that the parents could relate to as well. Modern and hilarious in all the right ways. Easily has you laughing in the aisles.

robin hood is ....for the 2nd time.... AMAZING!

by korey on 2010-01-07Elgin Theatre - Toronto

My daughter and I saw Robin Hood years ago when she was little, when our neighbors took us with them to see the show. We enjoyed and loved the show so much that we couldn't stop talking about it for days especially our favorite scenes. The following year, I also took my older kids to see Ross Petty's family musical and they also enjoyed the show so much that since then, it has become part of our family's Christmas tradition. It's one show you don't want to miss because it takes a year to wait for the next one. This is the 2nd time for my daughter and me to see Robin Hood and we say the same thing as the first time we saw it - it's just hilarious from beginning till the end and the performers/ actors were all amazing but our favorites were Nurse Plumbum, Jacques le Rock and Eyuba.

    Robin Hood Is Remarkably Funny

by Lipau on 2010-01-05Elgin Theatre - Toronto

My sister was telling me what an awesome show for both adults and kids - very comical. I decided to take my 9 year old son and we both enjoyed the show. There was humour geared for the adults (parents) and the kids. The actors were energetic and they also sang beautifully.

Robin Hood - The Absolute Best

by Trafalgar on 2010-01-05Elgin Theatre - Toronto

My family loves to go to the Pantomime, being English it is a family tradition. Ross Petty's productions are always magnificent. Each year that we go we have the very best of times. The cast in this production was fabulous, each member showed a flair for comedic timing. The children in the audience loved the performance as did the adults. My husband and I had seats in the orchestra, three rows from the stage, and the other six members of my family preferred to sit in the third and fourth row of the first balcony, no matter where any of us were sitting we all agreed, the performance was terrific from any view point. It is only a shame that Ross Petty does not do an Easter show, that would be great fun.

    So many laughs!

by ballerinamom on 2010-01-05Elgin Theatre - Toronto

What an incredible experience for all of us! This play is definitely for adults as much as for the children - if not more so. We laughed so hard and would like to go every year. Thanks for the great time!

Ross Petty's Robin Hood was great!

by Kooker on 2010-01-05Elgin Theatre - Toronto

It is a family tradition. We see Ross Petty's production every year--sometimes twice! It is so well written and performed every year and we recommend that everyone go see it. There is something for everyone. We adults love all the jokes and look forward every year to what they will come up with. The kids love the stories and love yelling "boo" every time Ross Petty comes on stage. Ross Petty is always their favourite character, however, Nurse Plumbum really gave him a run for his money this year. He/she was hysterically funny. Of course my two little girls are completely in love with the characters who played Robin Hood, Jacques le Rock and L'il Sean John. I think what really makes this production so great is that it always seems like the story is specifically written for the actors that are cast in the production and all the jokes and music are very timely and relevant. Well done! We can't wait until next year. I would love it on DVD so we could watch it over and over again.

Robin Hood was a hilarious adventure and a pleasure to watch. I was a little disappointed in the use sponsorship commercials.

I must have another Ross Petty ticket! I must!

    by Tess8884 on 2010-01-04Elgin Theatre - Toronto

Where do I begin? Ross Petty's Sherrif was brilliant, Plumbum's character was hilarious, and having so much talent on one stage was a pleasure to experience. Add to this the fact that they were able to seamlessly incorporate current political and celebrity issues was impressive. This was a real treat for children of all ages!
