Mayhem festival 2015-Slayer and King diamond

by pinballs on 2015-07-20TD Echo Beach - Toronto

Echo beach is my now favorite venue. Sound was amazing on main stage. Both Slayer and King Diamond put on killer shows. I love these festivals. As you can find bands you never heard of before. Most bands on 2nd stage were more of the modern dropped tuning with growler style singers. After seeing Jungle Rot. I am now a fan. Great band

    Mayhem

by One1 on 2015-07-18TD Echo Beach - Toronto

Slayer was amazing. Seemed like they were having fun. Miss Hanneman though. King Diamond also rocked with style of rock. Very enjoyable. Hell Yeah was really enjoyable. They were in fine form. Devil wears Prada had a very good set being the first on the main set. The warm up bands were all good but I was disappointed Sister Sin was not there. Jungle Rot and Shattered Sun I plan to see again if they are ever in Toronto again. Overall a very good day and I would recommend Mayhem Festival to everyone.

    KORN! Rockstar Energy, Molson Amphitheatre

by mmurphy on 2014-07-31Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

This was a butt kicking event! I didn't bother going to the afternoon events. Trivium worked the crowd letting us know that the Boston show was a sleeper! Apparently, all the bands were talking about it. KORN was the 2nd last band to play! I once again had a VIP meet and greet ticket. Row 1 in the 200 section isn't bad either. They were awesome! Hit wise, they outdid Avenge Sevenfold big time! JD was on form belting out the hits with his oldest son sitting at the side of the stage. JD even checked that his son was okay during one exit from the stage. The VIP was fab! I had a group shot with the band (minus Jonathan who had to leave early). They were extremely friendly and cordial. They even autographed other photos that I had taken of them. This was compared to VIP Listening sessions with JD in 2012 and 2013 and this was just as great! The meet & greet was then extended in the Pavilion to the folks who paid less. The band answered questions and were keen to please fans. We then had personal photo ops and autographs. KORN once again pleased a returning fan. Thanks for a great show! I'll be back! I just hope they will be!

    Good Show terrible Venue

by Blackbeard on 2010-07-19Comfort Dental Amphitheatre - Englewood

as this was my 2nd mayhem festival i wasnt exaclty unprepaired for what was coming. plus we had attended last year in Auburn and wasn't framilar with Denver's Amphitheatre. the main stage setting was amazing place was packed crowd was wicked, the 2nd and 3rd stage was in a dusty dirty parking lot. couldn't get close enough to see most of the bands i wanted to and the heat and lack of any shade made it difficult to enjoy that part of the festival. i was still very happy with the main stage acts, zombie being the highlight. its good to see such a large crowd out to support metal!
