The Voda show was truly amazing! The Rusalka dancers danced with so much energy and passion. They truly love to dance and represent their Ukrainian culture. I loved the show. Bravo.. My only suggestion for club Regent is better ventilation inside and outside of event centre.
It was well worth the trip to Winnipeg. Rusalka put on an excellent concert!

What a wide range of performances packed into the 3 hour Voda Gala Concert! From high energy traditional Cossack folk dances and modern ballet style performances to patriotic performances reflecting on the determination and bravery of Ukraine against the Russian invasion, this show had it all. The audience was totally captivated for the entire performance, frequently cheering and clapping in rhythm to the high energy, fast paced, gravity defying traditional dances. To top it off, the men's choir sang a number of traditional songs in powerful baritone voice. Hats off to the Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble for a highly charged, beautifully choreographed and unforgettable performance.
Fantastic time. Amazing dancers, singers, performers!!! First time at Club Regent for an event- found it very comfortable! Great view wherever you sat!!

A very professionally produced show with excellent lighting, good music reproduction and great costumes. A couple of numbers in the first half were not up to the standard later and in particular the group dance numbers with 12 ladies and 12 men. The routines of the latter were well-choreographed, full of energy, and great fun to watch. They also featured the talents of individuals showcased at their best.
Part 1 of the performance was a bit repetitive but very entertaining. Part 2 was more enjoyable as the tempo was higher, the dancing was more of what we expected. The history of the Rusalka was well done and a tremendous tribute to the organizers and performers over the years ... it made me proud to be Ukrainian and a Manitoban.
