    what a treasure!

    What a great set by Ruth Moody of the Wailin' Jennys. She's an awesome solo act and played with a superb backing group. Full house at West End Cultural Centre went home happy and a bit tired because Ruth and the band played 2 long excellent sets that just got better as the evening went on. Ruth Moody is also fun on stage with a terrific light hearted stage presence. She is a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada treasure and the home crowd loved her.
